Have a relaxing, meandering stay on the property, or use the space as your base camp for adventures in nearby towns and destinations like Boone, Blowing Rock, Lansing, and Grayson Highlands State Park.
2 acres may not seem like much, but to us, it is an abundance of land to utilize and to share with our guests. You can lounge with the old pines or fruit trees, set up your Eno and take a nap, hang by the community fire pit (we supply wood), grill food over the fire or on the charcoal grill, or stargaze and take in the cool mountain air.
In the summer there may be fruit on the trees (blueberry, cherry, apples and pears in early fall). We are working on edible gardens and this will be in progress during your stay. If there's anything available, we welcome you to harvest and enjoy a bit!
There is a walking path through the woods with spots to hang your hammock.
One of your hosts is a professional chef, and handcrafted tasty food is one of our many passions. Just let us know if you'd like any breakfast. We can provide simple yet delicious options such as amazing blueberry muffins, eggs, bacon, sourdough pancakes, etc! Other meals are possible as well, just let us know if we can. help.
