Looking for the perfect getaway, you will find some peace and quiet here! Only 14.6 miles from I-40 and located on 97 acres, this campground is surrounded by nature, very secluded and private. There is a crystal-clear creek that runs parallel with the driveway and fresh spring water flowing from pipe in the rock close to the entrance on American Way. The creek is bio-diverse, filled with fascinating species, and spring fed, which means it stays cool in the summertime. There are three beautiful homes which are able to be rented out as well as a fourth home that is for the property managers. The A-frame log cabin at the top of the hill is called the Lodge. The second home, which is a two-story brown log Cabin, offers individual bedrooms. The third home is the Cottage. This is a special place and we are happy and honored to share it with you!
Peaceful Hills Retreat, a family owned business, started in May of 2017. It all began when Jennifer’s brilliant brother booked a two-story home through Airbnb for Jennifer and the family for a week in the Carolinas. Their Airbnb vacation was a great experience, and she loved having a kitchen to cook in, while traveling with her large family. She gladly said goodbye to tiny hotel rooms. Linda and her daughter, Jennifer realized they desired to run a BnB, and watched the scattered pieces beautifully fall into place.
Peaceful Hills Retreat is also a wedding venue. There are three beautiful spots for a lovely outdoor wedding. The waterfall site is a favorite. The lodge is a beautiful place for the reception to take place outdoors
At each home you may read a special book called A Soldier’s Child Foundation (ASC). This life-changing, wonderful foundation near Nashville, serves children all over our great nation who have sadly lost a parent who served in our military. It's the perfect area to get together with friends and family to make memories to last a lifetime. Pricing is based on the amount of people in attendance divided by four (number of people at each campsite) and then times by $40 per night.

Peaceful Hills Retreat is exactly that. Peaceful. I loved everything about this place. I was the only one camping there this late in the year. I walked the whole property, used the hiking trail. Peaceful and beautiful. Tons of sites. Some seemed kinda close but still offered privacy. Small sites, large group sites, she has it all.

This was our first Hipcamp experience and it was incredible!! Jennifer left us incredible directions on how to get there avoiding dirt roads and also had wonderful directions on how to find fresh spring water to fill up our jugs. Loved everything about our stay!

Perfect for our group of 12. Fit one 10-person tent and 3 4-person tents easily along with 3 hammocks.
We drive 4 vehicles and had no issues parking them.

We loved our stay at Peaceful Hills! Jennifer was so kind and accommodating. I didn’t read the comments well and ended up picking a spot that was too hilly for tent camping! Luckily Jennifer kindly let us swap last minute for a perfect site for tent camping. It was lovely, quiet, and easy to find per the host’s instructions. Will be back!

What a quaint little nook ! Just as peaceful as its namesake. I don’t like to go to the same location twice, but I’d certainly come back here for a simple getaway. The site was level and spacious; It’s perfect for newer campers because you can bring all the “luxuries” ☺️ . There’s still lots of foliage in early October, so the site is cozy. We had a super stay 🤎

I stayed at Peaceful Hills Retreat Campground for my first solo camping trip, and it was perfect! The detailed directions were absolutely perfect for my directionally challenged self and I felt confident finding the location! Jennifer was such a kind and helpful host. I stayed at the Sunny Shire site — super peaceful, clean, and had a picnic table which made things easier. I was the only camper there, so I got to explore and really soak in the quiet. She brought me some firewood too, which made the evening extra cozy. Definitely planning to come back!

My dog Sparky and I had a wonderful stay at Jennifer’s Peaceful Hills. I chose the waterfall site and was immersed in calm, refreshing sounds of water slowly winding its way through the hills and to the creek just across the road. Sparky loved prancing through the creek and he looked like he was having so much fun that I followed suit and took a dip. It’s was chilly but felt oh so good! We took several hikes and made sure to veer off the beaten path now and again just to see what might be hidden around the bend. It was a lovely, relaxing and quiet stay and I would highly encourage a visit.
