We raise beef cows, heritage breeds of pigs, laying hens, and water buffalo. Additionally, we raise vegetables and do a lot of agri-tourism including: summer camps, school field trips, and a large pumpkin patch maze each year.Our accommodations include a vintage camper, primitive campsites along a salt water creek, and an RV area on our farm.We are located just 30 minutes from nearby beaches and downtown Charleston. The campsite was lovely. The quarter-mile dirt road was pretty bumpy, and I wouldn’t want to take it on a rainy weekend, but once we arrived, it was worth it. It was very primitive, yet still enjoyable. We had a great time. We camped by a river. The grand oaks draped in Spanish moss were absolutely beautiful.

The location on Google maps is accurate, but to find the last stretch you have to offroad a bit. RAV4s can get in all day, but I'd be worried about sportier sedans. The 5 sites are pretty much next to each other in a forested area. Has an outhouse (vault toilet) and a porta potty. They also have firewood for sale on site which is nice. Overall pretty bare-bones for a campsite but gets the job done and location is great!

Hanscomb point plantation gave us all we could handle and then some. Beautiful sites, perfect tree coverage due to our weather situation, Interesting pathways to travel due to that weather, but all in all a fantastic experience for our Troop to rest and grow as campers while staying in the area for the weekend. Thank you for the opportunity to stay on your land, some of those water hazards worried me for a bit when traveling out, but we managed like true scouts and blazed new pathways forward along the way. Would recommend your camping area to any asking.

I loved camping here! It was so nice to have an outlet to use while camping! I felt very safe as a solo camper. I was met by some sweet fur babies that enjoyed my pets that's always a great Will definitely return for more stays thank you for your hospitality!

We had such a wonderful experience, it’s quite the oasis. Beautiful views with the perfect blend of beachy marsh, forest, and farm. Secluded enough to feel detached from society while also being conveniently located to plenty of stores including an adorable farmers market. We couldn’t have been more pleased and plan to make this a regular occurrence. Thank you so much to Linda and everyone else who tends the property! :)
