 Free use of kayaks and a canoe on an undeveloped 18 acre lake is included when you camp here.  Several miles of trails, dirt roads and streams wind through hundreds of acres which you are free to explore.  

The property has been owned by members of our family for 75 years or more with areas of it family-owned since the 1800's. A large portion of the property is dedicated to sustainable loblolly pine forests dating back to the 1980's.  A significant area of the property is dedicated to native hardwood forest and has some of the oldest and largest white oak, poplar, elm and shortleaf pines in the upstate.  The remainder of the property is pasture; home to Black Angus cattle.  We look forward to sharing this unique property with you!

I first saw this property in 2009 and fell in love with it.  The property is gorgeous and the land has a magical feel.  Situated in the foothills of the Blueridge Mountains we are in horse and wine county!  The area is also part of the isothermal belt so the weather is always better than the rest of the South or the Mountains.  The land is about 1/2 pastures and the remainder are beautiful forests with trails, creeks and even our own waterfall.  The animals and equines living here make the place even more special.Learn more about this land:Tiny home cabin on 28 acre horse farm with creeks, woods, and incredible pasture views. We are excited to add that we now are part of the Art of the Horse tour through Our Carolina Foothills!  The Tryon Chalet and Imagine Equus Farm are the new proud owners of Mil Flores, a beautiful horse painted by artist Mary Tolles.  Mil Flores now adorns the front of the farm!  The cabin has 1 queen sized bedroom and 1 bath, plus a full kitchen, living room and dining area.  You will have all of the comforts when you are inside with wifi, cable TV, a mini-split for heat and air conditioning, a fireplace and a dishwasher.  We keep the cabins stocked with everything you will need for your perfect getaway.  We feature high in beds and 100% organic cotton sheets.  The cabins are new and stylishly designed.  The property is private and quiet.  Perfect for a romantic getaway, a home base for TIEC horse shows,  wine tastings or a quiet retreat.  You will see miniature donkeys, horses, goats and even a duck roaming the pastures from your cabin.  We want your time here to be wonderful, so we have strived to create a peaceful oasis.  

Craytonville Campsite

When you lay your head on our property you will be laying your head on Cherokee land. The property is at the meeting place of five soperate trails of the Cherokee, which is why it is called Trail Rd. Across the street you may pull water from the old well which has recently been restored. Craytonville is the town that grew up around the well, and used to be the stomping grounds of John C. Calhoune and for many years was believed to be the place where Abraham Lincoln's parents met. This was believed until 2015 when DNA disproved the rumor, but still the rumor is absolutely fascinating! South Carolina recently named the campsite property as a historical landmark. So, bring the metal detectors! You may find an arrowhead!Learn more about this land:We have four acres but are adjoined to a 500 acre farm where you will see cattle grazing and other beautiful country sights. We have goats in the barn you may feed and pet as well as feeding the chickens and using any eggs you find. Its winter so you may not get many right now.

Van Living!

I’m Jacob. A few years ago I converted a van into a camper. It was my daily-driver for a while but eventually decided my Matt Foley days were over and I retired the van in exchange for something more eco-friendly (but much less fun). The van sat around in between weekend camping trips that unfortunately became less and less frequent as time passed.A year ago I decided that the holy grail of swaggin’ wagons could no longer be kept a secret from humanity. You really think I would hide something as great as this van under a bushel?? The answer is NO!!Anyway... So then I decided to build a campsite in my backyard so that others could enjoy the van the same way I have. Well now, I have purchased some land and have begun to draft the dream spots. First, I started with a dome... reminds me of a hobbit home, but cooler! I am now remodeling a bus and hope to have that to you soon!
