Weekend Trip to Camp Stonewall Cabin
My grandson, I, & hunting buddy had a great stay @ Camp Stonewall...really like the new gas fireplace/stove.... it made it nice & comfy when we got back from deer hunting....

Weekend Trip to Seven Mountains Campground
I loved the tiny home. My partner and I had a great time. Definitely bring cooking equipment though if you plan to cook. I wasn’t sure whether to bring any, and saw it said it had basic cooking equipment but it wasn’t much to work with. Other than that everything was great. Easy to navigate and arrived without issue. Came late so couldn’t find the cabin, but customer service was great and helped navigate us in the dark. Would definitely recommend and come back to the campground when it’s warmer out!

Star Lee is a wonderful setting for a bucolic visit to Central PA. Close to Raystown Lake and other state lands it offers a nice stay for anyone to hike, bike, hunt, or fish in the area. Stargazing and daydreaming also included. As a working bee and hay farm, Star Lee offers the opportunity to settle in, relax and enjoy. It is clean, comfortable, and obviously well cared for. I highly recommend Star Lee and am still enjoying their honey. We’ll be back.

It was peaceful, beautiful, and they were very accommodating. A lot of hiking around the area, and very easy to get to. If you want peace and quality recharge time, we highly recommend.

Weekend Trip to Star Lee Farm
We have stayed in a lot of hip camps, but this by far is one of the very best that we’ve stayed in. Some of the highlights: cozy cabin nicely decorated. No heat or electricity, but he had lanterns for us, but we brought our own. Nice outdoor area with a picnic table and a fire pit that was perfect. Also a gas grill for us to cook on. He is two other cabin places, but they are so far apart that you can’t really hear or see anyone else. The property is huge and it is a working bee farm and it was very cool. These are located nowhere near the cabin, so you never have to worry about the bees being near your cabin. Highly suggest you learn about raising bees from our host! He has delicious honey for sale and an awesome piece of property with lots of different birds and deer. we walked around his property the first day and went 1.7 miles so it is very large. Also, very nice that it is a close walk to the flushable toilets and hot water showers. This was also a huge plus for us in October. Kevin is very responsive. He is also retired military and very compassionate and energetic about his farm. We came up for the end of the road half marathon/4miler, but in addition to that there is much more in this area if you like the outdoors. We did not go to Raytown Lake / Alpaca farm which we will visit next time. We love to hike and within 15 minutes is beautiful hikes with awesome views in including the thousand steps and the standing stone trail. We highly recommend!!!

The intentionality of the cabin, combining elements of the past with the present, the view of the area mountains from the top of the property near the barn, and the hospitality from Tony’s son, Jake, make this a wonderful place to get away from the busyness of life! I look forward to a return visit! 😊

We loved our stay at Star Lee. The cabins are perfect getaway from the daily grind. Clean and comfortable. If you’re looking for wide open sky and some peace and quiet, look no further and head to Star Lee. Kevin is a gracious and accommodating host! He even checked in to ensure we returned home safe and sound. Simply can’t be beat and we’re very fortunate to have our first Hipcamp stay at Star Lee and looking forward to return. I highly recommend!

Hosts are wonderful. Awesome salt water pool. Direct access to Penns Creek. Cabin had AC and was located right next to the bath house. Highly recommend Sunsational Campground. Thank you, Irene and family!!

The cabin is super comfy and nicely finished, and the farm is beautiful and quiet! I spent 90% of my time on the big porch and loved it. I’ll definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to Sassafras Hollow
We loved our stay at Sassafras Hollow! The farm was cute and everyone was very friendly and happy to show us around. We bought some produce from our hosts and it was delicious. Benny the farm dog is a real charmer too! The cabin was clean and air conditioned, we enjoyed looking through the books and movies. We also took a short drive to Cowan's Gap for a hike and a great view. Couldn't have asked for more!

3 nights at Sassafras Hollow
The cabin at Sassafras Hollow was peaceful and cozy! We loved all the handmade details, the huge porch, and our daily visits from Benny the farm dog. It was super quiet at night, and the surroundings were beautiful. I took a wood-turning lesson with Jake and made a wooden bowl, he is a great teacher!

3 nights at Star Lee Farm
My girlfriend and I loved our stay at Kevin's Honey Bee Cabin! The cabin was super cozy and clean. He even had us all set up with little extra stuff like a box of fire starters, a roll of paper towels, bottled water, and a free sample of honey from his farm! The firepit and picnic table were well taken care of and the grill looked brand new. The shower house was a short walk from the cabin was also clean and had hot water. He was very good at checking in with us over message and occasionally in person to see if we needed anything. We went for our 8 year anniversary and to see the lunar eclipse. It was convenient since there was a nice open field for stargazing so we had a perfect view of the eclipse! Overall a great stay, thanks Kevin for a great weekend!

Very clean, cozy, and welcoming place. The hot tub was a bonus for our stay during the cold nights. The location was great! We planned our trip to visit some local breweries. There were many options within 20 mins. I'd definitely stay there again, and will probably be back during the summer.

The site was exactly what we needed ! The hot tub was wonderful and the fire pit was super cozy! The beds were comfortable and the house was very cozy! They were also super quick and helpful when we needed it!

Weekend Trip to Seven Mountains Campground
The location was an excellent "basecamp" for hiking in both Rothrock and Bald Eagle State Forests. I'm sure it is much busier in football season and summer moths, but I was pleased to have very little company at the campground for my winter stay.

Extremely peaceful romantic getaway to celebrate the New Year! Even with neighbors in the tiny home behind ours, we felt as though we had our own space due to privacy walls. Beautiful interior and relaxing exterior with a great fire pit and hot tub. We would most definitely come back!

Camp Stonewall is to me what a cabin/hunting camp should look like & be....secluded on top of the mountain with trees around it...I've enjoyed staying there; even tho it was mostly @ the evening after hunting for deer....LOL.....would definately reccomend to others....Bob Cidor
