The 9 Acres - A Frame Glamping

1 site · Lodging9 acres · Sherman, NY
Take a break from the world and seclude yourself and your loved ones in nature at The 9 Acres. Come unplug with this off-grid, minimalist, nature driven space. Explore the forest, refocus your energy, rejuvenate your soul, and relax in this eco glamping experience…an abundance of nature awaits! Follow on IG and tag your stay @the9acres The space The 9 Acres is situated (you guessed it!) on 9 acres of abundant greenery adjacent to the Chautauqua Gorge State Forest for your friends and family to enjoy. This property is home to 3 micro A-Frames. The A-Frames share 2 eco bathrooms with gravity fed water and composting toilets. Each A-Frame poses a minimalist setup with everything you need, but nothing more so that you can unplug, and reconnect with the world around you. Other Notable Landmarks: Chautauqua Gorge State Forest: 2 minutes Chautauqua Lake: 7 minutes Chautauqua Institution: 10 minutes Lilydale: 20 minutes Findley Lake: 15 minutes Peak n’ Peak Resort: 25 minutes 20+ wineries within surrounding area (10-30 minutes) Downtown Buffalo, NY: 1 hour Niagara Falls: 1.5 hours Downtown Erie, PA: 45 minutes Guest access Guests have direct access to their booked A-Frame via a keyless entry (digital code will be provided prior to check-in). The guest and their party of 6 will have access to the entire 9 acres. Hosts do not live on-site, but will be available in person should any issue arise. Other things to note The 9 Acres is off the grid (no electric or running water), we provide solar lights and battery-powered lights to try and keep the light pollution in the stargazing field at a minimum. Each A-Frame is equipped with a portable solar power station so you can keep your devices charged and make your complementary morning coffee/tea using our kettle and french press. Fresh drinking water is also provided in each A-Frame. Enjoy roasting marshmallows over the fire-pit which has Adirondack seating for six overlooking the pond. We supply firewood for your use. Please do not cut down any trees while you’re here. Our land is precious and we haul our wood from offsite. Your camp is located in natural wildlife habitat. Bugs and critters make up our natural ecosystem and come with the territory. None of our sites are ideal for insect-phobic guests. We do everything possible to keep them outside, by thoroughly cleaning the space between guests, but some inevitably still wander in. Cell Phone/Internet Service: Cell phone service is a bit spotty on the property. We do not provide internet at The 9 Acres specifically for you to unplug with our low-tech minimalist setup. Events: All guests should be listed on your reservation, please let us know if you are expecting anyone. All event inquiries, please contact the host. No pets. No hunting. Catch & Release Fishing Only.
