Beautiful homestead property located inland from the Oregon coast. Property has creek access directly adjacent to camping spot, with both bank sides being able for use. Once camp was set up with tent, I was able to use the kitchen facilities to prepare proper meals. Plenty of counter space, and even a nice meal table for 4 was available in the semi outdoor and enclosed room. This saved the need for use of my own burners and such.
The property had plenty to explore, with a bridge to access the nature trails leading into the forest. The hosts were wonderful to meet. I was given a tour and I even received a wonderful yoga lesson during my stay. I enjoyed getting to know them both.
Overall, the LivingWell campsite was a wonderful experience, and was quite happy with having nicer kitchen amenities. There is quite a bit to discover here.

2 nights at Tide's Reach of the Umpqua
Jeff's place was great! It was perfect for star gazing. We loved the kitchen and cooking outside. And the accommodations were very comfortable.

Lovely little secluded spot with creek access and a very nice bathroom. It was easy to get to, easy to park, within cell service, and our reactive dog was able to relax without a lot of other campers around. We also took the opportunity to learn about the land and the Applegate ancestors while we were there - it's an important part of Oregon and Kalapuya history!

Marygold and Mark's land was so magical and peaceful to stay on. From the creek to the array of beautiful plants to the alters set up all around the property it felt like a little slice of eden. We thoroughly enjoyed being the only campers as it allowed for more privacy and ability to drop into the space. The kitchen and solar shower were awesome bonuses to level up the camping experience as well. We really appreciated the kindness and generosity from Mark and Marygold who shared their garden produce and medicinal herbs with us and lovely chatting. We will definitely be back and encourage anyone who wants to experience the serenity and creativity of off grid living to book this place!

What a beautiful spot. Quiet and peaceful, with some lovely horses in the next pasture. Close to Roseburg and not far from the Umpqua river, lots of fun stuff to do. One of our favorite places we've ever camped!

Susan's spot is a great spot to stay! Especially for the price!! I camped here with my adventure cat Cleo.
The entire campground has a shade which is wonderful during the heat of the day.
There was level ground for me to park my SUV (I car camping), and she also provides a really cute green picnic bench!
Having a full shower was such a luxury, and basically having the creek to myself was so nice and waking up to the sound of the creek was so relaxing and peaceful. Surprisingly enough I didn't have any problems with bugs even though I was right by the creek and it's summer!
If you look up the history of the farm it's really cool to know that you're staying on a place that has been in her family winde the 1800s!
Susan was prompt in her responses and I appreciates her hospitality!
I would definitely recommend staying here and will probably come back myself!

When I first arrived I was a bit confused because I didn’t expect the RV hookup spot to be next to an existing camper, but once we got settled in we had a lovely stay! Super duper peaceful and gorgeous spot. I will say that if someone was staying in the camper, it wouldn’t have felt quite as private, but regardless it is a beautiful and serene spot not too far from the highway and amazing for a night. I went for a stroll at sunset and was greeted by two super friendly horses coming down the hill towards me, and I had such a nice time petting and hanging out with them at sunset. Would recommend this place!

We had a lot of fun camping on the Applegate farm with Susan. The campsite was nice, it was nestled among some trees above the creek. Our little guy enjoyed the water of farm equipment and wildlife. I think our favorite part might have been sitting under the billion stars that were out for us to see!! Thank you for having us, sorry our trip was cut short. We will definitely come back!!

And the directions they gave were clear and easy to follow. The easy access to the creek was very nice. The communal kitchen was super nice to use
And the campsite was clean and comfy.

Fabulous camp spot and awesome host! We meet our adult children every year for a camping trip and Applegate Century Farm was perfect, we had the creek to play in, there was plenty of shade all day, it was clean, beautiful, and private and the bathroom/hot shower was a wonderful addition.
We will definitely be back.

This was a quick one night stopover for me and it worked very well. Very quiet and secluded. Beautiful rolling hills, sunsets, and starry nights. Access was easy with plenty of space to turn around.

Susan is wonderful and hard working. Site was tucked by creek yet still easy to get down to with our truck camper. A bit of a walk to get to bathroom in the barn, but happy to find a flush toilet and shower. Very magical spot

Beautiful property and loved the trails for guests to wander. My partner is a birder and they had an incredible time seeing new birds they hadn’t seen before. My dog got along great with the property pup too for added bonus!

We had an amazing time at Marygold’s! She was so welcoming from start to finish. This is seriously a hidden gem spot. We loved our quiet, private campsite on along the creek. There was plenty of space tents and the camp spot included a table and chairs around a fire ring nearby a swinging bridge. The outdoor kitchen was well stocked with everything you need and the solar shower was amazing (and warm by midday!). The property was so calm and quiet!
Only thing to note is you really need to follow directions to approach the house from Deadwood by hwy 36- hwy 34 via Google maps took us to a downed tree/dead end. And note there is no cell service on the property, but that’s part of the magic! We’ll be back!

The camp spot at Applegate Century Farm is lovely. It’s a private spot set in a grove of trees right by a creek. You park your car close by in a mowed field, which was great for set up/tear down and to store our food for the weekend. There is a bathroom with shower a short walk up a hill. It was very relaxing to listen to the burbling creek and birdsong, though the sounds of I-5 could be faintly heard on occasion. The landscape was stunning - oak Savannah in the foothills - and it was fun to explore some trails along the creek. Definitely recommend.
