Great olacee to camp! Sites 3 and 4 are private, do not have vehicle access, and is a short, albeit uphill walk back to the parking. Bras the host was communicative and easy to work with. Would recommend

Brad’s hip camp is absolutely stunning! I had such a peaceful night solo camping and I highly recommend this place. I would definitely come back for sure. Also, this is a GREAT place for birding! I saw a hermit thrush (new lifer) among many others.

Very nicely maintained & spacious walk-in sites (#3 & 4) that Brad had a wagon to haul our things. We had the place to ourselves and appreciated the sweet nooks that have been thoughtfully created around the property as we explored. Thank you for sharing your magical little piece of land!

It was absolutely beautiful...an oasis of forest among the surrounding farmlands. We enjoyed to site, it was near the pond. sauna and outhouse, so everything was nearby. Nobody was at site 3, (which is pretty close by) so we had total privacy. We had a lovely time and would go there again!

Brad was an excellent host. He came out at night to guide me to the right camp spot, and spent time in the morning giving me ideas for further travel. The sauna looks cool, but unfortunately there’s a burn ban in the area so it couldn’t be used.

This is a remarkable property! Small enough to be quaint and large enough to have mini adventures. I camped here alone as a woman with my dog, and Brad was so kind, making sure I was aware of my surrounding area and that there was no poison oak or wild animals to worry about. The spring fed pond was safe for me and my pup to play, and the options of sauna and yoga for future visits were also a bonus. I highly recommend this lil piece of heaven!! I will definitely be visiting soon with friends and family!

Highly communicative host!
Gracious, anttemtive and flexible host. Due to my inexperience with Hipcamp, I inadvertently double booked our trip and based purely on logistics, we opted to stay at an alternative Hipcamp venue (least driving distance).
Brad was a fantastic host even in spite of the fact we never checked in! No doubt, we would have enjoyed our stay!

Brad was in constant contact with us to accommodate for all our needs. His directions to the site are very clear as are the signs along the way. Brad met us once we arrived and showed us around the grounds. The site is every bit as nice as the pictures makes it out to be and quite large. The site was well flanked by enough woods to make it seem you are deep in a forest and not 45 minutes from a major metropolitan area! We finished setting up a tarp and tent just as it started drizzling and it was such a picturesque scene listening to the rain while stay cozy and cooking up a campsite meal. Everything went about as well as we could have ever hoped.

It was our first time bio camping and Brads land did not disappoint! Our little family was on a long road trip from Washington to California and this spot was an easy pull off from the highway, in nature, quiet and peaceful. A bit off the beaten track, but we felt safe with our little baby and our tent was in a private nook, nestled amongst the verdant nature. We hit the road early, so did not meet Brad but I appreciated all his support in accommodating our short visit!

Brad has done a great job keeping up with the trail systems and sites on his property. Signage helps guide you to parking, campsites and compostable outhouse. He was extremely responsive and answered all our questions. We stayed on Site 1 with our 2 year old and dog. It was great having the playground near by to occupy the little one while we setup camp or cooked our meals. We’d definitely stay here again.

We had the most lovely time camping at Cedar Route. The host greeted us warmly, and it was so wonderful of them to share just a slice of their heaven that they have at their campsite.
We loved how private the spot was and the beautiful vegetation everywhere. And my toddler loved the playground. It was a big hit!
I highly recommend a visit and we can’t wait to come back!
