This campsite is very close to shopping and events, with easy access to the parkway, but in the quiet of the country. Chickens, ducks, geese, rabbits, and local deer keep you company. A short half-mile walk down the winding country road leads to a 160-acre park with 16 pickleball courts, frisbee golf, field games, off-leash dog areas, sand volleyball, fishing ponds, running trails, play structures, and more. A little further and you'll find multiple breweries and family-friendly entertainment. Less than half a mile the other direction is another 36-acre community park with two play areas, a lunar-scape skatepark, a 9-hole disc golf course, a bike skills course, paved and unpaved paths, and an 800m gravel running track. Prineville Acres is a 2 acre, flat and peaceful, uninhabited getaway in Central Oregon to enjoy all to yourselves. It is 7 minutes North of The Prineville Reservoir and 12 minutes South of the Town of Prineville. The property is situated on a quiet corner, and is best suited for campers who want a more private experience away from others- as there is no host living on site and you do not share the space with campers from different groups. The center area is cleared of trees, has a rustic fire pit in the center, with trees surrounding the perimeter of the property. The adjacent property to the side is also uninhabited, adding to your sense of privacy, while the neighboring property to the rear has year round, liv- in very quiet tenants. In the summer, bring your boat, kayaks, paddle boards, off road vehicles or ATV's, and use them in the surrounding waterways, on the nearby public use BLM land, Millican Valley OHV Trail System, or Four Corners Staging Area. Or bring your family's fishing poles and take the kids to the local Youth Fishing Pond or nearby Haystack Reservoir or Prineville Reservoir that are stocked year-round with trout. The property is 3.3 miles away from Deschutes County Fair and Expo Center, 4 miles from the airport, 13 miles from Hayden Homes Amphitheater, and 11 miles from Smith Rock State Park. There is no shortage of things to do close by. During festivals there is a three day minimum for all sites. No matter the time of year there is always something to do. Small items available to purchase for those forgotten items. Oregon is a 21 and older state. Everyone needs to be 21 years old to smoke cigarettes, marijuana, or drink alcohol so please obey state laws. That being said feel free to partake just be respectful with your cans and butts. Most nights only 1 night stay is required however there are some blocked out days or extended stays (only a couple times a year)

Learn more about this land: Pull up and let the vacation begin. The Lake Billy Chinook area has everything for the perfect camp trip. There is bike riding, boating, fishing, hiking, ATV riding, swimming, kayaking, lounging and enjoying nature. When you arrive just park in your site. We have 30-amp service but no RV septic hookup. The site is gravel so you may need to level your rig. We have a fantastic outdoor area complete with couch, loungers, BBQ and fire pit. The high desert offers some of the most amazing views of the Cascade Mountains with clear blue skies and some of the best star gazing around. Casa del Lago is a dark sky site. There is a fantastic view of Mount Jefferson from the couch and the sunsets are absolutely beautiful. During the Summer we usually enjoy beautiful sunny days and cool comfortable nights. You can hang out down at the lake and find a spot on the beach to have a picnic. You can also bring your boat or rent one at the Cove Palisades Marina and enjoy water sports. Hosts live in house on property. We are located 4 miles from the lake and are nestled in a rural country neighborhood.

Easy to find. The view of the canal is amazing! If you pull in nose first, you'll have a better view out the side door of your rig, and a bit more privacy. You are parked right near a road that is only busy at rush hour times, it seems like. The road noise wasn't too bad. Michelle's property is beautiful. Michele herself is a very lovely person to talk to. We met 2 of her children as well. Very nice kids. If you have your pup along, go to Pine Nursery Park. It's not far away and their dog park is awesome.

Great space in town. There are houses around on large properties and the RV space is right on the road. The road was busy at times but not bad, and still felt private. We were working all weekend so we didn’t hang out much. Perfect to come back to rest! Thank you and we will consider it next time we’re in town.

Good spot to overnight if, like me, you arrive in Bend tired and ready for downtime & sleep! The river frontage is lovely. Connor was welcoming, much appreciated! The spot is located right by a lovely (rather busy) neighborhood road, just a note for those wanting any kind of privacy. Beautiful home, nice yard share. Thanks much!

Susan's place is phenomenal. It's a fantastic location right above Billy Chinook Lake. It has a sweet little cabin you can stay in and a tent site area complete with everything you could need for a weekend away. Her attention to detail is impeccable. Each area has outdoor lounging areas, propane fire pits, outdoor cooking areas complete with supplies, a lovely hot outdoor shower, and a cozy hot tub that's perfect for late night soaking and star gazing. She was the best host you could ask for, so friendly, helpful, and responsive.

Marie's spot was quiet, the facilities were clean, and the pool was a really nice bonus. The hosts were very nice and the location was extremely convenient. The only negative we experienced was a dog that felt the need to wake everyone up by jumping on their tents and/or trying to get into the tent. I don't think the dog belongs to them, but it was friendly and must've lived nearby because it happened all 3 days. Our last night the dog woke everyone up in the middle of the night (I think it was 3am). I love dogs, but this one was beyond extra...

Large private yard and not many campers when we went, but the ones that were there were quiet and kept to themselves. Was able to bring my dog, and there is a porta potty available, but no water that we know of. There was also a dog (not sure if it was the owners, they only warned of us their cat) that kept trying to come into our and the other campers tents and it wouldn't leave us alone. Loved that the place is also close to the Deschutes County Fairgrounds as we were there for a festival.

I loved camping on Michele’s land! It’s on the outskirts of town on the beautiful Deshutes River, just love listening to the river. Her entire family is just lovely, very helpful and accommodating to any needs that might pop up! The property is beautiful and the camping area is very clean and flat, perfect for tents or RVs/trailers. I will definitely stay here when rolling through Bend again.

This was such a beautiful and serene little place! There are multiple little areas for campers but we happened to have the place all to ourselves which is just how I’d prefer it. We had our camper but we could have shown up with nothing but our tents, blankets, clothes and food. There are camping supplies, soft lighting, comfortable outdoor furniture, a clean porta potty, clean outdoor shower (with instant hot water!), an outdoor sink with running water, shade and privacy. Even though the major Flat fire was right next to us and we lost water for a bit, it was one of my most favorite camping trips! We were right near Lake Billy Chinook & Three Rivers and a little store/gas station. Susan is the best host! She is so kind and responsive and it’s apparent she takes great pride in the look and care of this magical little place. We will definitely be back!

Me, my partner, and our dog really enjoyed our stay at Cabin Del Courtyard. Susan is so communicative and thoughtful. We enjoyed all of the accommodations, especially the Nexgrill, hot tub (once it cooled down at night), and the fire pit. The hosts have really thought of everything that you need and prioritize their guests privacy. We would love to stay and visit the area again.

Absolutely perfect. I miss it already. They have set up all the amenities, including the kitchen area, living room, area, private shower, covered area with the camp to stay out of too much sun. It’s very pleasant and just a short drive down to the upper state use area where I was able to play on Lake Billy chinook All day.

Susan is a such a considerate host. . She provided many amenities to ensure a comfortable, relaxing stay. (Shower, cleanest port-o-potty I’ve ever seen!, outdoor kitchen and cozy lounge area, picnic tables, etc). I was surprised at how private it felt, considering we were staying in someone’s yard! The Mountain View and surrounding parks are beautiful.
