Yaquina Bend camp can accommodate 6 campers in all. The camp is 2 acres along the Yaquina River headwaters in the coastal hills, surrounded by forest and valley praries. The fire pit includes a grill and seats so no need to pack chairs. Beach access along the Yaquina River is great for swimming and innertubing in the summer. We have some advanced terrain please use the rope to assist you in getting into the water. Only 20 minutes from the Newport, this camp can make a great home base for day trips to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Yaquina-Bend is the perfect place to relax, connect with nature, and spend quality time with friends and family.

Our piece of heaven… We have 200 acres of timber cozied up to Siltcoos Lake. Siltcoos Lake is approximately 3500 acres and warm enough to swim in! Your campsite is 10 private acres surrounded by the rest of our 200 acres. You are welcome to hike, bike, forage, and enjoy the whole 200 acre forest. Your 10 acre campsite is private for you and your guests. So let your pets off the leash, laugh, play music, have fun! Your site comes with a propane bbq grill(bring your own propane or rent a bottle from us), fire pit, patio set, table and chairs. There is plenty of flat, open area to maneuver several RVs and place tents. It is open and grassy. Our driveway is long and takes you to peaceful privacy. Our driveway is part gravel and partly dirt that we grade and trim as needed. You can place your kayaks and small boats into the lake at our property. There are 2 other ramps for larger boats elsewhere. RVs, tents, boats, bicycles, horses and pets welcome. There are many unimproved roads to access our creeks, springs, ponds and lake or enjoy the deer paths. Our property has elderberry, blackberry, huckleberry, mulberry, thimbleberry, salmonberry, currants… mushrooms, many wild edible plants and wild life! Siltcoos Lake has 2 boat ramps, 1 restaurant, 1 bar, 1 store, and boat rentals. The restaurant/bar/store (Darlings) will deliver, by boat, to your campsite for $10 !!! $20 minimum as of 2022. Or drive/boat over to Darlings for their well known friendly atmosphere and great food served inside or on their heated deck! Sorry no ATV use on property at this time. This magical property is conveniently located 5 miles north of Florence and directly on Hwy 101, approximately 3/4 of a mile from the ocean. This is a large private site that is surrounded by old growth timber and teaming with flora and fauna. Campers are encouraged to explore, but be aware, this property is wild.. and encounters with wildlife are common. Beyond the adventuring that can be done on the property, Baker Beach state park is less than a half a mile away and there is a plethora of trails, parks, and lakes within 10 miles. We do have full time neighbors just to the North, so we ask that you be respectful and cautious with regard to dogs/noise. Hwy 101 can be very dangerous for unsuspecting pets. There are several roadside campfire stations(directly across 101 from camp) offering small bundles for $5-6/night. **Be advised that we are slowly working on the property to eventually create more camping space. There was a lot of dirt/fill brought in over the winter of 2022 and the property may not be as green as years past.** Please be our guests, relax, and enjoy!

River View is located in Glenada. No bathroom or running water, but there are 2 electrical plugs (110V and 220V) available at the pole. We have a free-range farm atmosphere, with 2 kids, 2 large dogs, 2 cats, and 12 chickens. We allow Hip Campers to bring animals on the property with the understanding that they are not allowed in the tiny house and that they are good around children and other animals, as our kids and pets are often running around the land. We have firewood and fresh eggs for additional fees. THERE IS NO TOILET on the property. This is not a tent camping site unless you bring your own portable toilet set up. No smoking in the Tiny House. This rustic property is close enough to Hwy 101 and downtown to be convenient, but far enough away to enjoy all the wildlife the Siuslaw River has to offer. Bird watching at its finest! Not to mention the view of Old Town! This little slice of rugged heaven is just above the Siuslaw River and right off of Hwy 101. There is a steep gravel driveway, but once at the top, it is flat, and the view is pretty amazing. From camp, you can see Old Town. Gaze down at the Siuslaw River and all the wildlife that comes with it! We regularly see deer, red-tailed hawks, ospreys, and bald eagles. We have also had a bear that passes through, so beware of leaving food out. There are plenty of places to hike and visit nearby dunes, rivers, lakes, parks, and the ocean. Enjoy Florence's amazing food (ask the host for her favorites). It is quite an "up and down" walk to Old Town for dinner, or you can bring back take-out and eat it in the tiny house (no electricity or running water). Take a short walk to Prichard State Park for clamming or just relax with a book and feel the breeze off the river.  Whatever you enjoy, we’re sure you can find something close by!

The spot was easy to find. The view is really nice. We booked for only one night as we were just looking for a safe night to sleep while fishing the Siuslaw. We sat up our sleeping mats and blankets and slept inside the little tiny building in the property. We brought our own bathroom set up. It worked out really nice for what we needed. We will stay again!

What a great space! Getting there can be a little tricky since the Maps directions are just a little off and the gate is hard to spot from highway, but if the three of us can pull it off- anyone can! Lots of room for group camping. For its proximity to 101, the site is quiet and feels secluded. Port-a-potty was clean, the fire pit was perfect, and overall we had a great time. Would definitely return.

Close to town but still felt very private! My dogs loved all the smells. Spot was clean and easily accessible. Would definitely stay again!

Where the property sits relative to the highway, lake, and ocean. Currently you can't make it to Lilly lake or the ocean through the property. To access Lilly lake please go down Baker Beach Rd and take the Lilly Lake loop. Our property consists of 5 acres of wetland is dangerously swampy to try and hike all the way through to the lake.

Easy access, private, spot right off of 101. If traffic noise bothers you, this might not be the right spot for you. But, I’ve tent camped here twice and our group always has a good time. Quieter in the evening and you can hear the ocean in the distance. Great for big groups and dogs. Clean and routinely maintained porta potty. Will definitely stay again!

This is where you will be. We have upgrade to a free standing gas BBQ, a new patio set with cushions, and hammocks.

I can't say enough good things about this site. It was conveniently located about 10 minutes from Florence right off the 101. I felt spoiled staying here and having this huge place all to myself. There were so many options where to set up my tent. There's a fire pit, a picnic table, and a porta-potty with lights installed. There is a house next door but I never heard or saw anyone. Megan was very friendly and approved my request to stay there pretty quick. There are pay showers at 37th Street Coin Laundry ($4.00), and a huge Fred Meyers within a 10 minute drive from camp right as you get to Florence. I could hear the cars on the road earlier in the day, but after 10 pm I barely heard it, and slept like a baby all through the night. Between the creeking of the gate when opening, and having neighbors right there added an element of safety for me at night, and my gear if I left for a bit. I really did feel spoiled. It was perfect for me at that point on my road trip down the coast. I highly recommend it.

This was the perfect spot to pitch our tent, have a little fire and get some sleep! There is a picnic table and nice fire pit as well as decently soft and mostly flat ground area for a tent. The trees are amazing, very private area and was easy to find, even in the dark as we arrived fairly late.

Huge forest grove all to ourselves! Drive north for less than one minute for one of the best coastal views we’ve seen in our many travels. The porta-potties were the cleanest ever. So know that this site is right off the highway, but we noticed that at night there’s very little traffic, and the location can’t be beat. For some the road noise might be a bit much but we really didn’t mind. The site is nice and private, with a big picnic table and fire ring and plenty of level places to set up a tent or an RV. We will definitely return to this one.

It was perfect for myself and my dog! I’m glad I arrived early to be able to find the gate, as well as look around to figure out where best to pitch my tent. Went out to visit with some friends that night and had a difficult time trying to find the turn off in the dark- but for me that’s all a part of the fun 😉 My dog did not want to leave. We definitely will be back!!

This spot is the perfect, private piece of land I hope to find on Hipcamp. It’s right next to the 101 so super easy to get on and off during a road-trip. The highway noise is all just the swishing sound of cars, not semis & loud trucks like camping near 1-5 so it’s not bad at all and gets very quiet at night. The land is big enough to walk around a bit and stretch out. The picnic table and fire pit seating area around it are all you need. The porta potties are spotless and smell good! And the magnificent trees and all the birds in them are a real treat. We had such a lovely, peaceful stay and highly recommend to anyone needing a private respite on a camping trip on the 101.
