The Cloud, is currently in the process of becoming a retreat space and eco village for guests to come experience. The large Spruce trees that cover the land stand with strong branches and are covered with magnificent green needles. We have a large Koi pond and garden area
that we love to share with visitors if requested.
There is 1 large area to camp depending on the size of your group and how many self contained Vehicles/RV's. The main camping area has enough room for about 2 large RV's or 3 smaller RV's depending on the size. We like to allow for turn around room and pretty much let you set up camp however you like. There is some overflow parking if needed across the property near our shop for an additional $5 charge per vehicle which we can discuss. We do not have a toilet facility, so you must be self contained. Pricing is $60 per night per RV. We are approximately 1.8 miles from Hwy 101 across from the Myrtlewood factory in Hauser.
We are close to the dunes and Horsefall beach. This is dry camping with water available via hose from our house if needed. Fire season may be in effect depending on the season. (See restrictions.) If you do reserve with us, please make sure you reserve according to how many RV's in your group. Please be courteous when making reservations and try not to cancel last minute. If you have additional questions, please call or send me a message.
We like to let people know that there are a lot of deer passing through all the time and they do leave droppings everywhere that we cannot control, so please be aware. Pets must be on a leash at all times please.

BBQ some oysters on the grill or pick up some fresh fish and enjoy the bounty of the coast.

Our two Lost Valley Van Camp sites can each accommodate one self-contained campervan or truck camper and offer a quiet place to pull up amongst the trees on the outskirts of the field. Each site comes with a convertible bench/table for two and a flat grassy area to camp with plenty of room to turn your vehicle around. The two sites are separated by dense trees to ensure privacy from neighboring campers. While these sites don't come with the epic view or river access of our bluff site, they are peaceful and conveniently located.

RVs, tents, boats, bicycles, horses and pets welcome. There are many unimproved roads to access our creeks, springs, ponds and lake or enjoy the deer paths. Our property has elderberry, blackberry, huckleberry, mulberry, thimbleberry, salmonberry, currants… mushrooms, many wild edible plants and wild life! Siltcoos Lake has 2 boat ramps, 1 restaurant, 1 bar, 1 store, and boat rentals. The restaurant/bar/store (Darlings) will deliver, by boat, to your campsite for $10 !!! $20 minimum as of 2022. Or drive/boat over to Darlings for their well known friendly atmosphere and great food served inside or on their heated deck!

Guests will have river and dock access via a trail that starts at the campsite, and can enjoy fishing, crabbing, or simply taking in the breathtaking scenery. Watch spectacular sunrises and sunsets from your private bluff camp. *This site is not good for tents as the wind can be very strong and there are no trees on the bluff.
Our two Lost Valley Van Camp sites can each accommodate one self-contained campervan or truck camper and offer a quiet place to pull up amongst the trees on the outskirts of the field. Each site comes with a convertible bench/table for two and a flat grassy area to camp with plenty of room to turn your vehicle around. The two sites are separated by dense trees to ensure privacy from neighboring campers. While these sites don't come with the epic view or river access of our bluff site, they are peaceful and conveniently located.

Stunning options for hiking, biking and mushroom hunting surround you here on the central Oregon Coast. With rainforest on one side of HWY 101 and coastal dunes on the other, there are many opportunities to explore different types of forested areas and trails.
Wildlife enthusiasts are just minutes away from the Dean Creek Elk Viewing wildlife recreational area on HWY 38. This large herd can be seen daily grazing in the meadows.

We have 200 acres of timber cozied up to Siltcoos Lake. Siltcoos Lake is approximately 3500 acres and warm enough to swim in! Your campsite is 10 private acres surrounded by the rest of our 200 acres. You are welcome to hike, bike, forage, and enjoy the whole 200 acre forest. Your 10 acre campsite is private for you and your guests. So let your pets off the leash, laugh, play music, have fun! There is plenty of flat, open area to maneuver several RVs and place tents. It is open and grassy. Our driveway is long and takes you to peaceful privacy. Our driveway is part gravel and partly dirt that we grade and trim as needed. You can place your kayaks and small boats into the lake at our property. There are 2 other ramps for larger boats elsewhere.
RVs, tents, boats, bicycles, horses and pets welcome. There are many unimproved roads to access our creeks, springs, ponds and lake or enjoy the deer paths. Our property has elderberry, blackberry, huckleberry, mulberry, thimbleberry, salmonberry, currants… mushrooms, many wild edible plants and wild life! Siltcoos Lake has 2 boat ramps, 1 restaurant, 1 bar, 1 store, and boat rentals. The restaurant/bar/store (Darlings) will deliver, by boat, to your campsite for $10 !!! $20 minimum as of 2022. Or drive/boat over to Darlings for their well known friendly atmosphere and great food served inside or on their heated deck!

Exceeded Expectations! Tim's property is stunning. Everything is very well maintained, the porta-potty is the cleanest and best smelling that I've ever experienced. The area is open, yet private. We had a sneaky visitor while we were gone one afternoon, help himself to a jar of peanut butter we mistakenly left out. Our Racoon camp buddy came back that night to sniff our tent and hang out in the bushes while we relaxed by the fire.
The location is perfect. It's very close to one of the best beach spots along the southern Oregon Coast, Sunset Bay.
While we didn't make use of the shower or sauna, we checked them out when we picked up firewood and chatted with Tim - they seemed clean and inviting.
Tim was a great host - I had some vehicle issues that caused us to get in very late one night and impacted our departure time. He just gave us a jovial wave as we left.
FYI - Lots of neat stuff to explore within the camping area - check out the creek!
The ground was wet and slick; I tried as hard as I could to not spin-out in my truck, but unfortunately I left a few minor marks in Tim's beautifully maintained grass. Very sorry, Tim!

The yurt was very roomy and comfortable! There were lights and a propane heater and a comfy futon. There was a picnic table and fire ring out front. We arrived after dark and it was a little tricky to navigate to the site in the dark but we managed. We stayed one night and were pleased with how private and remote the campsite was. The view of the stars was incredible due to low light pollution! Highly recommend this "glamping" experience.

Weekend Trip to Sunset Bay Meadows
I had an amazing stay at this cozy yurt near Coos Bay, Oregon. The property itself is stunning—set on a vast stretch of woodland that is even part of a golf course, it felt like a peaceful retreat tucked away in nature. The yurt was warm, inviting, and the skylight made it extra special. Hearing the nearby stream in the evening and waking up to soft natural light were some of my favorite things about the yurt stay.
The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make my stay memorable, even taking the time to show me where to find edible mushrooms on the property. It’s clear they genuinely enjoy sharing their land and encouraging guests to explore and connect with the outdoors.
The sauna and outdoor-style shower added to the rustic, nature-inspired experience—simple, refreshing, and perfectly in tune with the setting.
Overall, this stay was peaceful, unique, and full of thoughtful touches. As a solo female I felt incredibly safe and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, nature-focused getaway. 🌿

We absolutely love Cathryn's beautiful hipcamp on the Umpqua River in Roseburg. We went in late October so the weather was chilly and it rained a lot but we made the best of it. We had the entire campground to ourselves and just a few steps away from the most breathtaking river scene. My son enjoyed fishing and saw many huge salmon but unfortunately he didn't catch one next time perhaps. We have a 31ft RV and our friends had a smaller RV there are no hookups but that's how we love and enjoy camping. It is very peaceful with wild turkeys that ventured into our camps. There are no strict rules on dogs off leash which are pups love to explore and run around and frolic in the water it was amazing. Cathryn came by once to introduce herself and to answer any questions that we may have had. She also mentioned that they are going to do some improvements to the camp to get down to the water more accessible. Its all a work in process but it's beautiful just the way it is. We can't wait to book for the summer because there are many deep pools there to swim in. The only suggestion that I would have would be to move the front gate further down so that when you pull out of the gate you're not on the main road where it could potentially be dangerous. To be honest I really don't want to say too many great things about this place lol because we would love it to remain a secret 😜 It is definitely in the books for springtime. The sites where way bigger than we expected, we had plenty of room for all of us. It was so nice.
We could hear the Elk and sea lions all night and the morning before we left we seen some whales just a couple of minutes down the road. It was an experience.

The spot was easy to find. The view is really nice. We booked for only one night as we were just looking for a safe night to sleep while fishing the Siuslaw. We sat up our sleeping mats and blankets and slept inside the little tiny building in the property. We brought our own bathroom set up. It worked out really nice for what we needed. We will stay again!
