Ohh Ship Beach Camp

Ohh Ship Beach Camp is located on Puget Island in the middle of the Columbia River. When you book a stay here, you get TWO large RV parking spots, both with 30A power and a shared water hookup. Both spots are on level ground with gravel pads and plenty of room to pull in or back in your vehicles. Tent campers are welcome; however, there are no bathroom amenities at my site, so guests must be self-contained. You'll enjoy free Wi-Fi, a large picnic table, and a large fire pit with seating. When you purchase firewood, it will be in the firewood holder when you arrive. Contact me directly for rates for large groups (more than 10 people or two vehicles). Walk, run, or ride bikes on the flat roads on the Island. Swim, fish, boat, kayak, or jet ski on the Columbia River. The boat launch and septic dump are located a few miles away at the Cathlamet Marina (there are public restrooms there). The town of Cathlamet has many local spots to eat and drink, including River Mile 38 Brewing Company, Maria's Place (Mexican), The Spar (American), Patty Cakes (Coffee), The Cottage Bread and Breakfast, and many more. Enjoy yourself while you watch the ships go by.....it's the ultimate relaxing spot on the beach!

My partner and I were lucky enough to purchase it in Oct 2020 and our goal is to bring it to its original beauty and charm with the most up to date amenities. Long Beach Peninsula has been a family vacation destination for a long time and there's so much fun to be had on every inch of land! Located centrally between Leadbetter Point and Cape Disappointment, we have 16 full hookup RV sites (30 amp power/water/septic/Wifi) close enough to enjoy the fun of Long Beach and Ocean Park, but far enough to retreat to your camp for quiet and relaxation. Hang out in the rec room or at a fire pit, play horseshoes or bocce ball with family, or take a short walk down our dune path to watch the sun set on the ocean.

Our beachin camp is located on the Longbeach, Washington Peninsula. It's a dry camp, for now. It's less than a half mile to the ocean. We have four sites available. Each site has a cute cinder block firepit. Its perfect for RV's or tent sites. As you turn onto the property you will be met with a gate. To identify the correct property you will see two small brick pillars at the entrance. Please be sure the keep the gate closed when not in use. Upon entering the gate, our campsites are located along the LEFT-hand side and are distinguishable by the 4 built-in block firepits. (Please note: the campsites along the right-hand side that are nearest to the cell tower are not operated by us.) Pack out what you pack in. All trash must be removed at check out. Jack's Country Store offers garbage drop off for a small fee. There is a small park with a restroom located a couple blocks away that is usually open for public use. Beautiful views of lush, Long Beach Peninsula ranch land, sharing a fence line with acres of horses and cattle. Please note: this location is not private. This property is a stones throw away from Willapa National Wildlife Refuge. The Refuge is open to the public year round for hiking and wildlife observation. The "Worlds Longest Beach" is less than a five minute drive. The Long Beach Peninsula is one of the largest continuous beaches throughout the world and it IS the worlds longest 'drive-able' beach. Guests with pets are strongly cautioned and children under 5 are not recommended because of the close proximity to Sandridge Road @ 45 miles per hour. Please view all the pictures provided so you know what to expect. It is often windy and wet here. Dress in layers, weather patterns can be exciting here on the coastline.

Dwell Seaview is a relaxing vacation spot on the Long Beach Peninsula. Located right in the middle between Ilwaco, Long Beach, and Cape Disappointment. Dwell Seaview is the place for you to enjoy your next vacation. There are many activities pretty much every weekend from spring through fall each year. Some larger events include Jeeps Go Topless in May, Beach to Chowder Run in June, Independence Day over 4th of July, Sandsations in July, Kite Festival in August, and the very popular Rod Run in September. Pictures of some of these events are posted in our Photos tab. There are 20 full hookup sites with a majority of them being 50/30/20-amp services, water and sewer is at each site!

This campground was developed in the 1950s by a husband and wife team and later passed to their children. My partner and I were lucky enough to purchase it in Oct 2020 and our goal is to bring it to its original beauty and charm with the most up to date amenities. Long Beach Peninsula has been a family vacation destination for a long time and there's so much fun to be had on every inch of land! Located centrally between Leadbetter Point and Cape Disappointment, we have 16 full hookup RV sites (30 amp power/water/septic/Wifi) close enough to enjoy the fun of Long Beach and Ocean Park, but far enough to retreat to your camp for quiet and relaxation. Hang out in the rec room or at a fire pit, play horseshoes or bocce ball with family, or take a short walk down our dune path to watch the sun set on the ocean.

Ohh Ship Beach Camp

Ohh Ship Beach Camp is located on Puget Island in the middle of the Columbia River. When you book a stay here, you get TWO large RV parking spots, both with 30A power and a shared water hookup. Both spots are on level ground with gravel pads and plenty of room to pull in or back in your vehicles. Tent campers are welcome; however, there are no bathroom amenities at my site, so guests must be self-contained. You'll enjoy free Wi-Fi, a large picnic table, and a large fire pit with seating. When you purchase firewood, it will be in the firewood holder when you arrive. Contact me directly for rates for large groups (more than 10 people or two vehicles). Walk, run, or ride bikes on the flat roads on the Island. Swim, fish, boat, kayak, or jet ski on the Columbia River. The boat launch and septic dump are located a few miles away at the Cathlamet Marina (there are public restrooms there). The town of Cathlamet has many local spots to eat and drink, including River Mile 38 Brewing Company, Maria's Place (Mexican), The Spar (American), Patty Cakes (Coffee), The Cottage Bread and Breakfast, and many more. Enjoy yourself while you watch the ships go by.....it's the ultimate relaxing spot on the beach!

Sites are …… as you drive in first to right in number 1, 2, 3 then 4 is last one to right after cell tower driveway. ( Left hand side is another Hipcamp host they are marked A, B, C, D ) Porta Potty is for my campers it has a combo lock This combo will come to you as automatic message 24hrs prior to arrival time. All sites have a picnic table Site 1,3 and 4 have fire pits. Site 1,3 have campground style BBQ New as of June, 2023 porta potty added. DO NOT put garbage or transfer any waste to porta potty. Jacks Country store in Ocean Park, WA has garbage drop off for small fee depending on size. See in photos FYI FUTURE: We will be adding new fire pits to all 4 sites.
