My Tiny Creekside Retreat is located in the hills above Longview, with easy access to Historic Downtown Longview, less than a half hour from the I-5 Freeway, and within 1.5 hours of Long Beach, Mt. St. Helens, and Portland Oregon. The Retreat includes accommodations for overnighters and is available to host your small event. In addition to their private accommodations our guests enjoy our large covered fire pit and picnic area, creek side beach, yoga decks, and an EV charger. A perfect escape from the hustle of life!

Slow Boat Farm - Island Camping

Slow Boat Farm started as a 10-cow dairy in the 1930s. The modified farmhouse still stands and the base of the silo is now a fire ring. 

Wide open spaces, kayak launch, and small-scale farming form a unique culture at Slow Boat Farm. Camp on Puget Island, in a peaceful, pastoral setting with views of the hills and cliffs on both sides of the river. Fire ring is available year round regardless of fire bans.  A large grassy field offers ample space, and a private kayak launch is a short walk through a cottonwood forest.

You will enjoy a private camp spot with shade or open space, where we can accommodate multiple vehicles. 

Slow Boat Farm is a large meadow, five acres of grass and wide open spaces to view the gorge cliffs.  Camping is available May through September 30.

Waking up to a shroud of fog across the field. The island is in the middle of the Columbia River, so fog is almost always a guarantee in the morning. 

Horse Lovers Paradise

Horse Lovers Paradise is nestled in the beautiful Hazen Valley amongst Douglas Fir trees and a seasonal stream.  Here on the ranch we provide room for campers with Tents, RV's, remote Hillside Camping and a Cozy Bunkhouse Room. You will find the ranch peaceful and serene.  Our garden/event area is prefect for children to play or gathering for a visit. There's firewood available which you may purchase here on the HipCamp site.  There are plenty of animals to love.  We have horses to brush, ride and feed. You may also see a dog, cat and free-range chickens. Did I happen to mention that we have a pet pig? Yes, Miss Piggy!!  We also have an area for pitching tents that sits along our seasonal stream; usually live from Nov. thru June.We are all about the animals and hoping to create wonderful memories for you and your family.

The Barton Family Farm & Ranch

The Barton Family Farm and Ranch is a cozy spot to stop for the day, night, a week and  just relax in peace and quiet. Learn more about this land:Pitch a tent, bring RV, horse trailer. Electric plugins,  Running water hoses. Close to town, Battle Ground lake, and Daybreak  park/river minutes away.

Bar UK River Ranch Camp & Ride

Erik's Swedish parents Ulf and Petsy Kahn purchased the Ranch in 1969, raising horses and cattle (200 head at one time). They rode the trails, tended the cows, and had great times fishing, swimming and camping.

Campers can enjoy Kayaking, Horseback Riding ...and Swimming at our beautiful riverside location!
 Camp by river with tent, trailor or RV,
 RV "Boondockers" are welcome.

Tour the beautiful Lewis river valley by horse back and ride into town for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Perfect first experience with horses for the kids, Erik is great with the little ones and makes sure everyone is comfortable and has a wonderful time.
Kayakers and Paddleboarders
 will love the location, camping right on the 32 mile John Pollack water trail. The Quaint town of La Center can be your destination,
an easy paddle, about four miles of natural wetlands and wildlife along the way.

Visit The new IIani Casino
 15 minutes away, offering
 entertainment and five star restaurants.

We are really excited to share some of the most beautiful areas by creating a few private campsites overlooking the river. We want it to be everything the crowded campgrounds are not!

 A 3 mile Ride through the valley and into town for a break for lunch or refreshment...before heading back to Camp.
