offering up an area on our property for clean, friendly, quiet campers that want to get out of the city and enjoy some peace and quiet. We are located in Banks, Oregon. We are approximately 45 minutes west of downtown Portland. Our camping area is about 5 acres and offers something for everyone. If you have a large RV and need a safe and quiet spot to stay for the night, we got you. We have a large fire pit, Adirondak chairs, a large picnic table, and a swing set for the kids. Badminton and cornhole available on request. Family get-togethers or birthday parties are welcome! We are located just 1.5 miles from The Banks-Vernonia Trail. Bike campers are welcome! Feel free to bring along your 4-legged friends as well. We do not have a fence, so if you do not trust your dog of a leash, please keep them tied up. We have a lot of deer that pass through and untrained dogs love chasing them. Banks has a few restaurants to choose from: Subway, Dairy Queen, Main Street Pizza, Mary's Mexican Food, Hop-Cycle Brewing to name a few. There is also a Supermarket in town just in case you forgot your S'mores supplies, Spirits, or campfire wood. We are about 20 minutes away from McMenamins Grand Lodge, in Forest Grove, which hosts some great live concerts during the summer. We have a few fishing spots within about 30 minutes of the property. Hagg lake, Horning's Hideout, Dorman's Pond and the Wilson River are all popular spots. We have clean well water and 50A electrical hookups. We do not offer dumping of black water, but you can empty your tank at the Elks club in Forest Grove (25-minute drive) for free or Camping World over in Hillsboro. I don't mind if you drain your gray water on the property as long as you use a longer hose to keep it away from the immediate camping area. The parking area for RV's is fairly level and easy to get in and out of. During the late summer, our 5 apple trees produce great fruit. We also have 2 plum trees, and some blackberries. Feel free to pick what you would like. Currently, we do not have any public bathroom facilities available for campers, so please plan accordingly. Please, only book if you have an RV with working plumbing. **We will not accept tent campers** Please feel free to ask me any questions, we are willing to make accommodations for special situations/events if possible!

A large grassy field offers ample space, and a private kayak launch is a short walk through a cottonwood forest. You will enjoy a private camp spot with shade or open space, where we can accommodate multiple vehicles. Larger groups can be accommodated - contact us! Slow Boat Farm is a large meadow, five acres of grass and wide open spaces plus a great view the gorge cliffs. I had a wonderful relaxing weekend at Slow Boat Farm. Brad & Lisa were lovely hosts & very responsive. They greeted me when I arrived and guided me to the camp area (I arrived after dark) and stopped by to say goodbye and deliver some treats when I left. The property is beautiful and very peaceful. I was looking for a place to chill out, read a book and hang out with my dog - this was perfect.

I loved RV camping at this property. It was incredibly quiet during the day. Having the fire pit and table right next to the camping site was perfect. We biked each day on the Banks/ Vernonia trail. Talon was very friendly and checked in to see if we needed anything. We would definitely camp there again.

Abby’s place is in a great location. Close to everything. We walked to dinner and could have walked to many other things. The beach is just a short drive away. We were able to let the dog out on her cord and she had room to move around. There wasn’t anyone staying in the house while we were there which made it more comfortable for us. The full hookups are always appreciated! There is some road noise but it gets quiet at night. Thanks for sharing your space with us.

The spot was the perfect relaxing conclusion to our road trip up the Oregon coast! Brad, Lisa, and Holly were amazing hosts to us and our pup, and there was plenty of room to kick back and enjoy the sublime scenery of the island and beautiful sunsets. The heated outdoor shower was glorious, and the nearby ferry over the Columbia was convenient and fun for a day of exploring Astoria. Would definitely stay here again when passing through the area. Great location and so close to PDX and Astoria. Loved the layout with flat camping spots. Composting toilet was easy to use and very clean. Propane shower was awesome! The bamboo through the boards really made it feel like you were outside. Hosts were great to work with and chat with too.

This campsite has a nice open grass field with a beautiful sunset. Large wind-protected fire ring to build a nice fire in the evening. I've never used a compost toilet before, but I like it better than a porta potty! The hosts are also very nice and helpful. We loved our stay!

We really enjoyed our time at this site! Its nice to have some room to stretch out and let the dogs be off leash. We were able to park under the cover, which offered a lot of shade. The area was nice and grassy, so our baby was able to crawl around without getting coated in dirt. In terms of location - an hour to cannon beach. Close to a bike trail (like 3 minutes). Access to wineries - we enjoyed Joseph Jane, which was about 30 minutes away. We will definitely be back :)
