This property boasts breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. Guests can stroll to the water for swimming, fishing, or kayaking right from the campground's banks. While boats cannot be launched on-site, a boat ramp is just a few miles away. Boats may be pulled up to our shore for daytime convenience. Our intimate campground features spacious pull-through sites starting at 40x60 feet, complete with full hookups, eliminating the hassle of waste disposal upon departure.
The pavilion provides breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. It features an open area measuring 30x30 feet, complete with a full kitchen and two bathrooms. The surrounding space affords a private setting.  A great place for events including weddings, family reunions and more intimate gatherings.

We are located East of Mena, Arkansas. Our farm has been in the family since 1897 and is listed as a Century Farm with the state of Arkansas. It is a working cattle farm on 160 beautiful acres with frontage along the Irons Fork River in the beautiful Ouachita Mountains. Our adjoining property is our zipline and amphitheater facilty, The Blue; zipline and Farm. Venture off the farm to take advantage of the plethora of things to do; canoeing, boating, ATV trails, hunting, state parks, National Forest, antiquing, rock hounding, and more. Our new shower house is finished and has hot water on demand.  (We're autism friendly, hence the name Blue)

The Beaver's Bend State Park is within minutes, as it the Broken Bow Lake.
 We have owned our property for 12 years, and decided to buy in Hochatown because we had been camping in this area for over 28 years.
 This area brings us joy, love, peace, tranquility, and seclusion. We love the nature, the water, animals, and sunshine.
 We even love the rain!

We are also close to all of the Hochatown events, eateries, wineries, & breweries.
 You can go golfing, swimming, get lost in a "secret room" or get a massage, within a 5 minute drive of our location.

Grab your pillow, towels, swimsuits, toiletries and come on to Broken Bow Lake (2 miles) or Beaver's Bend State Park (5 miles) and enjoy the great outdoors, in style!

Darbywoods RV Park

We love Broken Bow (Hochatown) so bought a lot for our RV so we could enjoy year round.   

We now spend most of our time in Colorado so want to share this lot with others when we aren't there.  This private one acre lot is for only ONE RV nearby Broken Bow Lake, OK (less than 2 miles away).   This is a heavily wooded one acre lot comes with electric, septic and water.  This lot is very close to the state parks and located in the area called Hochatown.  The lot is less than 1/4 mile from the center of Hochatown but very private and quiet.   There is a long level pad in the center of the lot. We have 50 amp power (30 amp if you have an adapter) for your RV.    There is a shed on the lot but that is for personal use.

Our lot is right off Steven's Gap road on the way to the lake.  If you like to fish the lake is less than 2 miles down the road and the river access is close by at Beaver's Bend State Park.  The are is abundant with wild life with plenty to do and see.

Heavener Runestone Park

This 55 acre park is home of a large sandstone that contains 8 markings believed to have been made by Vikings many years ago. The park features a seasonal waterfall, covered picnic areas, playground, amphitheater with seating, community building, scenic views, gift shop and approximately 2 miles of nature trails. Be advised that most tent sites have a tent pad but a few are primitive.   The one RV site is for 16 ft. or less vehicles and smaller teardrop trailers with limited hook-up and no dump station.  Restroom and shower facilities are located within the park.  Forest setting while still close to stores in case of forgotten items but the gift shop is stocked with camping supplies, as well. Variety of small wildlife in the area. All sites allow campfires UNLESS we are under a county wide burn ban.

Outside, you'll find a BBQ grill perfect for making dinner under the stars, a firepit with seating for four guests, and a hammock for lounging in the shade and maybe reading a book or just enjoying the lovely sounds of the forest. The bathhouse for the property is at the top of the ridge and it includes family-style restrooms so no sharing a bathroom with a guest in the stall beside you. There is a walk-in style tiled shower, towel hooks, a bench for convenience, and tankless hot water heaters so no running out of water.Our kitchen kit is fully equipped to make your glamping experience even more enjoyable. With everything you need to prepare and enjoy a delicious meal, you can leave the hassle at home. The kit includes a pot, skillet, can opener, spatula, cooking spoon, cutting board, lighter, knife, tongs, four plates, four sets of silverware, insulated cups with lids, dish soap, dish towel, and sponge. Whether you're whipping up breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you'll have everything you need to make your meal a success.Our glamping property is pet-friendly and welcoming to your furry friends. However, we do have some guidelines in place to ensure everyone has a pleasant stay. There is a non-refundable pet cleaning fee, and we limit the number of pets per tent to one. To ensure the comfort of all guests, pets must be house-trained and never left unattended in the tent. In accordance with public spaces, pets must be kept on a leash and their waste disposed of away from the tent site. With these guidelines in place, you and your pet can enjoy a relaxed and peaceful glamping experience.
