Or you could bring your own atv and pay a $30 day riding fee , ride as much as you want. Message us to schedule a ride. This cabin is very remote and private. It offers beautiful scenery, an amazing deck view of the mountain side ,Wi-Fi, a 4 person hot tub, modern kitchen and bath, very comfortable couch and love seat, a queen sized bed, Wi-Fi and 60inch smart tv located in the living room above the fire place and one in the bedroom. we also offer other spacious and modern cabins and primitive tent camping sites. Check in is at 2pm and check out is 11am We rent to everyone looking to enjoy some time in these beautiful mountains not just riders. Our hobby farm located in Stoutsville, Ohio is conveniently located just 30 minutes South of Columbus, Ohio. Just 30 minutes North of the Hocking Hills Region and its many attractions. We are within minutes drive from many hiking trails, Kayaking, Canoeing, breweries, wineries, restaurants and more. The surrounding small towns of Circleville, Canal Winchester and Lancaster serve up quaint shops and local color. Plan your stay to coincide with some local events like the Lancaster festival or the World Famous Circleville pumpkin show! Our farm boasts three stocked ponds, walking paths and trails as well as cattle, goats, horses and other hobby farm animals. Bring your own kayaks or canoes and check out the ponds yourself. Or throw in a line and see what the catch of the day is! Enjoy unobstructed views of our beautiful midwestern sunrise and sunsets. Prior to our family purchasing the property back in 2007, the farm served as a third generation apple orchard. Many of those trees are still around in our three orchards, plus some new additions over the past few years. Not only do my husband and I call the farm home, my parents and sister do as well. We would be happy to host you here on our 130 acres of rolling hills and hay fields.

I can transport you and your gear to the remote sites. ATV's are also welcome on the property. Firewood will be provided for free and in abundant amount. The site on top of the hill is a very secluded and mowed crest of hill surrounded by dogwood trees and the invasive Autumn Olive bushes. The site above the rxrwinery.com is a secluded, mowed clearing in the mature woods. There are also 2 sites in the valley that allow you to be near your vehicle. The field is close enough to the Appalachian highway (state route 32) for convenience, but far enough not to be bothered by it. The area is steeped in Native American culture. In fact, the world famous Serpent Mound is but 8 miles away, with many other Adena culture sites within easy driving distance. It's also in the heart of the Amish community. The area is known for its natural beauty with many hiking trails and canoeing opportunities. The area is awash in beauty and history from the ancient mound culture to the amish culture. The area has many hiking trails some of which are part of the buckeye trail and range in length from an easy 1 mile loop to rugged hikes of many miles. Learn more about this land: Come relax atop the Appalachian foothills of southern Ohio. Enveloped in the heart of Tranquility Wilderness Area, our 11 acres has a mix of native pawpaw, peach, pear, and persimmon trees, deciduous forest, cedar woods, wild meadows, a small swimming pond, and a large, accessible field for ample flat for tents and room to play. Trails through the woods are being worked on, and facilities expanded as the seasons pass. Mellow nature’s soundtrack of birds, crickets, and frogs and enjoy an incredibly clear view of the night sky. Hiking, kayaking, biking, birding, fishing, hunting, swimming, and more are available at several state parks and historical sites like within 10-30 minutes of the farm. Amish country is likewise near at hand with several bakeries, markets, furniture shops, and greenhouses. Our primitive sites are spaced for privacy, with a gravel parking area near the cottage and additional field parking is available near the road on the opposite site of the main house. While most sites are walk-in only, the upper field sites may be able to be parked near and the Lower Meadow, Boneyard, and Oak Grove may be able to be driven to, as weather and site conditions permit.

Sunnyvale Farm est. 1949 - is a 240 acre tree and grain farm nestled in the foothills of Southeast Ohio and situated along the Hocking River. Almost 200 acres of the farm is forested with many changes in elevation. This is a great place to sit back and relax or use as a base camp for your exploration of nature. Just 3 minutes from the Bailey mountain bike trails and the Hockhocking Adena bikeway. We are also 30 minutes from the Hocking Hills or 15 minutes from Strouds Run State Park and if you are a little more adventurous, you are welcome to hike the farm with many uphill climbs or an easier hike to see the little grotto. If going into town is more your speed, Athens is a few minutes away and you can be on the campus of Ohio University in less than 10 minutes without having to leave paved roads.
