Nestled under the shade bequeathed by a tall canopy of deciduous trees and alongside a gentle flowing brook, lies a forest opening perfect for immersing oneself in nature.
From our parking area, our private campsite is a short walk (3-4 minutes) by way of a well maintained footpath which leads you alongside a farm pasture, to a wooded trail that empties on to a level forest understory ideal for your hammock or tent. Our campsite is equipped with the necessities: a firepit with a removable grill, a table, your own private outhouse, and unlimited sights and sounds of nature.
Trails leading from the campsite will usher you short distances to one of our best stargazing hilltops, to the shallow creek which runs alongside the campsite, through shaded forests and ridgetop views. Our pond, a short 7 minute hike, offers fishing, swimming or simply relaxing on the dock. For longer hikes, all trails connect to our larger network of maintained trails winding over hill and dale, through shaded forests and open (mowed) pasture trails offering the hiker farm-life views across our 80 acres.

This is a 12.5 acre mini farm. We have a garden, bee hive, 30 fruit trees, bamboo, hard wood trees, 4 wheeler trails, a pig, guinea fowl, chickens, ducks, turkeys, cats, and dogs. We are working on a site for a single meat cow too!
We have 2 sites, 1 is a trailer and 1 is a camping spot/cabin on top of our mountain. The cabin up there was built in the 60-70’s probably and is a total mess. People are welcome to stay in it if they choose. There is plenty of area for multiple tents near the cabin.
The trailer is a basic 1990’s trailer. Everything works in it. There is a furnace, 2 full size beds, a full kitchen and bath. There is a window AC for hot days.

What a cool little place. Stanley and his family have something going for them. The cabin as your night time ambiance is great for any dark enthusiast. 4 German Shepherds for those lovers of the breed. Having the turkey as your white noice was a great experience. This place is a private spot on about 80 acres. There is a wonderful path through the woods to the top of a hill for stargazing at night. The catch and release pond is across the street on their property and just the perfect size. There are multiple trails throughout the property. Lots of wildlife and beautiful nature to immerse yourself in. The hostess is very friendly and accommodating. Oh, I would highly recommend getting the lights to surround your tent area to make it easy to find your way back if you night hike. This is the perfect place to unplug!

This was such a lovely trip! Between the sounds of nature, a nice fire at night, and some fishing and hiking during the day, this trip was everything that I hoped for! Beth was a lovely host, and helped me bring my stuff to and from the campsite. I'm already considering going back in the future, because I know it'll be just as peaceful and relaxing as it was this trip too!

Beth’s camp site was perfect! It was secluded and serene. The site was very well maintained. We paid extra for the string lights and jackery and it was worth it. Beth exceeded expectations as a host. She was helpful and kind. Communication was quick and clear. Scout was a fantastic welcoming, host!

Adam is an excellent host! My family needed some extra accommodation as the camp was a little further walk than we expected, and Adam made sure to get us to a campsite where we were nice and comfortable! The area is lush and quiet, we loved being close to the farm. There are plenty of good spots for top-notch stargazing as well!

I really enjoyed the peace and quiet of camping on Beth and Brian’s land. They were very accommodating to me (a motorcycle camper). I purchased firewood from them and it was there when I arrived. Will definitely camp here again and will shoot a video for my YouTube channel. A very nice experience that I highly recommend. But a word of caution, if you are intending to ride your motorcycle to the campsite, it better be an off-road or adventure bike. Otherwise it is best to park in the provided parking area.

This is hand's down my favorite Hipcamp yet! It's a beautiful spot, perfect for being immersed in nature and "off grid", although I did have cell reception while I was there. I had planned on using this as a base camp for exploring other parks in the area, but after arriving I didn't want or need to leave! The interconnected trails on the property provide plenty of hiking and wandering opportunities, and the pond is the perfect addition for swimming, fishing, or just relaxing.
Beth is a wonderful host! She was kind, helpful, and communicative, and her directions made getting there very easy.

My daughter and I loved camping on Beth's property. It was beautifu, quiet, and relaxing. Beth was really nice and helped us bring all of our stuff down to the campsite. I recommend following Beth's directions she gives to the site. I can verify that GPS takes you the wrong way. Internet is spotty, so take a picture of the directions to save. This was a great private camping getaway. We loved it!!

Beautiful area to camp and I can’t say enough how helpful and courteous the host is! He was busy working the farm and went out of his way to help us haul our gear to and from the campsite. Secluded private campsites, a one for fishing, boating, swimming, and miles of beautiful hiking trails through the Appalachian foothills of south-eastern Ohio! We will definitely be back!

This campsite is perfect for a weekend getaway. The creek is one of the best we have been to, while there is a road that follows it the creek is beautiful! We fished using worms and caught over 20 in one day for 2 people (blue gill, small & large mouth bass). While the “outhouse” needs a little love, it works—we brought our own set up but it would work if you don’t have one. There is some road noise, but that doesn’t bother us.

This is a magnificent site for a very private experience. Beth is amazing, helpful and checks in via the app to be sure you are comfortable.
I advise having a wagon to help move gear between the campsite and your vehicle, but Beth also helped with a 4 wheeler.
Plenty of trails for walking on the farm and the nice little pond for swimming and floating.
You are a short distance to Athens OH, a delightful town with all needed amenities. Also Hocking Hills and Lake Hope state parks are nearby for stuff to do in the area.
