Learn more about this land:This is a forested area including trails and a wooded wetland. Campfire sight is provided as well as a port a john toilet. It is a rustic site with a small cabin and areas to pitch tents. The area where the cabin sits is all pines. Secluded area yet close to town. Easy access from State Route 33. Walk in or drive in depending on your vehicle you drive. The cabin consist of a fold out bed, table and heater. Propane is provided as is a rustic portable ice chest inside the cabin. For those that desire to shoot small handguns we do have a pistol range on the property. In addition we have elevated totally enclosed stands for wildlife observation and photo opportunities. Our site was rated as Tree Farmer of the year (2021). Lots of wildlife and again very private oasis in the midst of a growing rural community.

Camp Peace consists of a riverfront vintage VW Bus camper as well as a very small cabin! Enjoy the free use of our kayaks and canoes as you navigate the many islands across from our property. Both the VW bus and the cabin have heat and air conditioning. The cabin has a 4-burner stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, and hot and cold water sink. The bathroom has a ship pump handle commode. There is a full shower, as well.

This property is a great place to enjoy nature. The Metropark has an easement through the canal. Bendview park is nearby. Undeveloped park acreage is near the access road to the east. Baltimore orioles, Cedar Waxwings,eagles, bluebirds and pileated woodpeckers pass through. Arrowheads have been found everywhere. There's peace and quiet in the surrounding area. Situated on the grassy bank of the Maumee with a natural boat launch. Adjacent to Metropark towpath between Waterville and Grand Rapids. Your fee includes propane and propane lantern, firewood and gas for the generator, plus use of boat, life vests and oars. Property has a fire ring, picnic table, grill and charcoal, sanitary outhouse and ample parking. Cabin has a microwave, Keurig, wood stove, futon, loft with full size bed, 5-gallon thermos of water, and electricity from a generator. No running water or kitchen. We provide twin sheets and pillow for the futon. We also make the full size bed in the loft.
