This old homestead belonged to my belated uncle Steve, and after he passed unexpectedly, I had returned to Minnesota from California and wanted to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for those interested in sharing a peaceful and modest property. The old barn is a work in progress to eventually become the base to accommodating more travelers and outdoor enthusiasts as finances permit. After working in the service industry bartending for 14 years and hosting 100+ global travelers via CouchSurfing out of San Diego, I am well versed in creating an inviting space, it has been a fulfilling endeavor. A pop up camper on 2 wooded acres on private Tonseth Lake with a small fishing boat is the perfect spot for a family get away. This large pop up has room for 4 adults and 2-4 kids, and the sight has space for your own tent as well. This lot does not have electricity or water, so you will need to plan accordingly. We do have a Porta potty. There is no boat launch capability on our lot, but we include our 14 ft fishing boat and electric trolling motor for your enjoyment. This lot is our family's summer get away, and wanted to make it available for others to use.
