You will find incinerator toilets at the shower houses, which are thoroughly cleaned and restocked before every guest's arrival.

Nestled over 1,700ft elevation, amongst hundreds of evergreens Locals around the area call The Mountain spot less than a few hundred yards away "Heaven". This is truly a beautiful place to bring the kids, your fur- babies or honeymoon. There's a full kitchen and more amenities than we can list. Pan for gold, go fishing, hike, check out “heaven” on the hike up The Mountain about 1,000 feet to see golf course, Stone Mountain, Blue Ridge mountains all while setting in a 20-foot observation tower with shelter, fire pit and more. Check out local wineries, BBQ joints, and golf courses! There's so much to do around here, even though you're in the woods away from civilization, you're only a short 30 min drive for groceries.
You'll be able to take a dip in the river, fish in the creeks (close to cabin) also right here on the property you can pan for gold, look for fossils, and enjoy this North Carolina retreat. We have many outside areas that guests are welcome to use, such as the much-loved private hot tub and fire pits, tetherball, cornhole, volleyball, badminton, basketball, horseshoes, small gun range MUST BE APPROVED BY OWNERS (targets $2) Lots of walking/hiking trails. Welcome to the Blue Ridge Parkway Campground, an off-grid Glamping experience nestled in the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains, just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. This prime location allows guests to explore multiple scenic overlooks within a few miles of the cabin. Built with locally sourced rough-sawn wood, the cabin offers an authentic, rustic experience.
The cabins are powered by 2000-watt solar generators, which provides energy for lighting, and charging any devices you may bring. The cabins are also equipped with 10,000 BTU space heaters to keep you warm on chilly nights. Additionally, we provide queen size Tempur-Pedic mattress to ensure your comfort.
For your showering needs, there are shower houses that feature a unique rainwater system. Rainwater is collected through a screened gutter system, ensuring that clean water is stored for showers. Please note that this water is suitable for washing but not for drinking.
You will find incinerator toilets at the shower houses, which are thoroughly cleaned and restocked before every guest's arrival.
We welcome pets, so feel free to bring along your furry friends!

Our home was built in 1895 by a scottish immigrant Joe Campbell. THe land was farmed for many years. When Miss Hazel, Joe's daughter died, the property was sold or inherited. We are blessed to own the home which has been renovated and 8 acres of the original property. Cozy Bear sits right by the large noisy, trout stocked creek, and less than five miles from Hillsville, which has a grocery store, local shops, a gym, dining, and nearby hiking. There is a shared bathhouse with a conventional toilet and an outside shower, shared with tent guests occasionally. Inside Cozy Bear, there is a queen mattress up in the loft, and a sleeper sofa downstairs. The kitchen has a sink, coffee maker and on the deck is a blackstone griddle, a propane firepit and a wood burning firepit is by the creek. Cozy Bear has a composting toilet and a shower in the bathroom.
Cozy Bear is solar power/ and grid and is a six mile drive to I-77 and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Super cute cabin! Had everything we needed for the weekend even a s’mores kit!! Host were extremely helpful when we got confused with the lock box. The view was great watching the sunrise with the fog over the trees, plenty of paths to walk if you don’t wanna go to the Stone Mountain trail. We wanted a quiet place to elope with some of our closest friends we got that and so much more. Check out was super easy would definitely recommend for a quiet romantic getaway or even a small family vacation! Pet friendly accommodations for the bestest of pets. I don’t know how much more I can recommend, if you’re on the fence take the leap you won’t regret it in the slightest. We looked a so many other options but ultimately kept coming back to this one every time and glad we did! Thank you so much to the amazing hosts for having us and allowing us to have this moment here it will never be forgotten

Cute cabin with amazing views! If you are lucky enough to catch a sunrise, it’s breathtaking.
Make sure to follow the written directions if coming in at night, as turning around if you go too far is a bit tricky.
Space heater kept the place toasty and cozy.

My Family of three stayed in a small cabin right by Elk Creek. We had breakfast on a little balcony overlooking the creek. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Got there during the dark, so not having to setup a tent was certainly a benefit. Dianne is a great host and so very friendly and helpful!

Garry and Dianne were so kind to share their lovely log cabin with our family.
Dianne was especially kind and sweet, and we truly appreciated their hospitality. The cabin was beautifully prepared for us, and there was plenty of space to pitch a tent right outside. Our kids especially loved fishing by the stream and roasting s’mores by the campfire. It was such a fun and relaxing getaway for all of us. We’ll definitely try to come back in the future!
