It is a little tough to get in there due to over growth. We have so many deer, coyotes, wild turkeys, hawks, eagles, and supposedly wild pigs (I have never seen them). Those woods house so many animals and plants. So beautiful. Rivers are all around Loris, we have the little Pee Dee River, Waccamaw River and the Intracoastal. Less than 34 miles to No. Myrtle Beach and Cherry Grove beaches. We do have a tandem kayak. There are kayak rentals nearby. Go kayaking and see alligators sunning themselves, see a bald Eagle soar, everything is right there. We are also so close to the beautiful city of Conway. Also called Halloween town in October. The trees are all decorated through main street. The history is Conway is deep. Live Oaks (which are protected) are all through Conway. There is a beautiful River Walk too. Great restaurants for everyone's' tastes. Loris itself is beautiful. A very small quaint earthy town. We do have two great restaurants and an amazing bakery. We are so close to many state parks, where you can walk around and take it all in. Very close to Myrtle Beach and No. Myrtle where the nightclubs and big shops are. Come and stay at Longford Ranch and get away from all the beach traffic, and see the real South Carolina.
