This unique feature prevented loggers from logging the property. As a result, there are many huge old-growth trees on the property as well as a variety of fauna and flora. A truly unique blend of farmland. Including an assortment of friendly animals to interact with. Woodland, wetlands, and a deep spring fed fresh water creek that connects to the Cape Fear River. This is a working farm. Please do not Open any gates to the animals. The fruits and vegetables on the farm are for the members of the farm. Eggs from our chickens will be provided for you to use for breakfast. If you happen to choose a campsite with a kitchen. There is a coffee pot and all cooking utensils. There are four permanent 4 shelters on the property. Composting toilets. Showers are still in the works. All of the shelters have their own composting toilets. Small propane heaters are available for each shelter. The first 1gallon bottle off propane is free with your stay. it will last 5-7 hrs. each additional bottles will cast $6.00 per bottle. There is also solar, powered lights, usb charging stations, fans, and air coolers. each Conestego hut has a locking front door to keep your belongings safe Campfires, hiking, canoeing and kayaking. Kayaks, canoes and lifejackets are available. All the Wilmington beaches are within 30 minutes.

Along with a waterfall with a solar pump, so will flow with the sun out OPENING DOOR: * The wall is on a rope pulley system with a hand crank. Simply crank the pulley and the door will open. Once open please grab each leg from the door running up the frame as seen in the photos and place them into locking positions. To close, push down the silver locking mechanism on the hand crank. PLEASE HOLD the rope as you do this so the door doesn’t slam down then slowly lower the door. Ideas on what to bring: * Drinking Water * Extra green Propane tanks * Fire starters * Blankets * Bug Spray Anything that you want to enhance your camping experience Other notes: * NO SMOKING IN THE CABIN * PLEASE BAG YOUR TRASH and place into the outdoor garbage can provided. USE SAFETY MEASURES AND KEEP THE FIRE IN THE PIT TO AVOID DAMAGE OR WILDFIRES * Bring charcoal if you are using the grill. Bring a tent for a $20 fee for extra guest. * The woods behind the cabin is available to walk around. The farm is not. Currently the pond is still naturally filling up so it may not be fully filled during your stay as it takes some time. When fully filled the pond can reach 12-14 feet.

We have 11.6 acres. A little over 4 acres is cleared for our homestead and farm animals. The other 7 has been unexplored for years. We left it natural for the wildlife and eco system . It is a little tough to get in there due to over growth. We have so many deer, coyotes, wild turkeys, hawks, eagles, and supposedly wild pigs (I have never seen them). Those woods house so many animals and plants. So beautiful. Rivers are all around Loris, we have the little Pee Dee River, Waccamaw River and the Intracoastal. Less than 34 miles to No. Myrtle Beach and Cherry Grove beaches. We do have a tandem kayak. There are kayak rentals nearby. Go kayaking and see alligators sunning themselves, see a bald Eagle soar, everything is right there. We are also so close to the beautiful city of Conway. Also called Halloween town in October. The trees are all decorated through main street. The history is Conway is deep. Live Oaks (which are protected) are all through Conway. There is a beautiful River Walk too. Great restaurants for everyone's' tastes. Loris itself is beautiful. A very small quaint earthy town. We do have two great restaurants and an amazing bakery. We are so close to many state parks, where you can walk around and take it all in. Very close to Myrtle Beach and No. Myrtle where the nightclubs and big shops are. Come and stay at Longford Ranch and get away from all the beach traffic, and see the real South Carolina.
