Welcome! This primitive Tent/RV site offers: 2-Private Acres + FREE Firewood + 8-foot Industrial Picnic Table + Little Tikes Picnic Table + Commercial-Grade Port-A-Potty + Large Garbage Bin + 5-Gallon Bucket + Adirondack/Sitting Chairs + Pet Friendly! 

Solo travelers, families, and romantic getaway travelers: This is a very private and safe place to camp! Because we only have 1 site, you will be alone in the space the entire time. My family lives on the premises so we are here in case of an emergency.

My daughter and I own this 35 acre secluded piece of heaven just minutes from Winston-Salem, Hanging Rock State Park, and other attractions. We are pet friendly (if your pet does not play well with our dogs or horses, please leave them on a leash or at home). Our Shire horses are endangered and very BIG! We hope you have time to say hello to the horses during your visit.

NOTE: we do NOT provide electric at the campsite; you are allowed to use a generator. 

NOTE: we do not provide garbage bags so please remember to bring garbage bags for all of your trash. All trash must be bagged and deposited into the provided garbage bin.

The Uwharrie Hideout

Reopening January 1, 2024 for guests. We appreciate your patience while making improvements and plan to reopen as soon as the hunting season ends.  Enjoy some outdoors time while staying close. Well, my land is large with a beautiful stream flowing the property line. Tall hard woods mixed with pines and a huge pasture for looking at stars at night. There is a known Indian grave yard located here and the spirits show up in photos.Learn more about this land:If you want to get away  and be near the Uharrie mountains and Badin Lake and Lake Tillery we are located 30 min from the Uharrie Mountains and access to the lakes. Fishing, boating, horse riding, hiking some of NC best kept secrets.  Enjoy farm life on a real working farm or stay hidden in a remote area of the farm.  Minutes away from the golfing capitol of the south....Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen NC  134 acres with a rambling creek running thru the property.  Tall pines and hardwoods with wild flowering spring bushes.  deer and wild turkeys love  this place.  Bathrooms and shower . Pack your trash out

This is our story , well I have this land its 6.43 acres . This is how it all started there was a hippie fest going on in town and it was posted on social media . Someone posted they were looking for a place to camp but they didnt have camping at the fairgrounds where the event was . So I messaged this person and said I have a big yard maybe they could camp here but I have no facilities water toilet etc. We spoke and the gentleman said he would like to do that him and his group . I have never done anything like this  they paid me to stay ,but before I knew it I had 32 people coming here 2 pop up campers a 30 ft pull behind and 12 tents WOW . So of course I had to get the porta toilet thats how it ended up down there . The weather was threatening us so some people cancelled but in all we ended up with 16 people here it was a fun time for all . Thats when I decided to join hipcamp now we are on our hipcamp journey . My fiance Henry built a shelter and  a rain barrel water isnt drinkable , as time goes on we will be cleaning out more of the land for more camp sites . Hope y'all come visit . UPDATES !!! We have added Glamping to the site a 30 ft 2021 Coleman Camper , This will be a separate listing  but its here !!!

Carolina Christian Campus

This land has a special place in the hearts of many people in this area. For 49 years this property has been home to Carolina Christian Academy. This Christian school has served this county and it's residence faithfully for many decades. The property that it sits on is a secluded private piece of property that is quiet and peaceful. From it's inception. Carolina Christian Academy has been about helping parents and families educate their children. Opening our property up to you is no different. There are rolling hills with knolls and fairway-like views you might find on a golf course. There are deep woods with a small creek where one might "rough it". And there are several really nice shady spots under large hardwood trees to set up a tent or RV. There are paved camp sites with water, sewer and electric like you might find at a KOA.  There is a bathhouse and a bunk house.....We pretty much have it all. Come check it out!
