Weekend Trip to Forest Echo Cabins
Cabin was private, cozy, and had everything we needed! Scott & Rose made everything super easy and welcoming. A hot bath in the morning followed by canoeing on Tiny Pond, a drive out to Woodstock, and stargazing in the meadow at night was an unbeatable experience. We had a lovely camping trip! Couldn’t recommend more.

4 nights at Forest Echo Cabins
Our second time here and once again we had the BEST time! It is so peaceful and quiet. The cabin is stocked with everything you need and way more. We loved the bathroom remodel. We went during a drought but was provided with plenty of water to use (we also brought our own for backup) we loved sitting in front of the fireplace at night reading and doing puzzles. We enjoyed nights around the campfire and cooking dinner. The bed is very comfortable and the brown couch is perfect for naps. Being October we didn’t sleep on the porch bed but I can imagine how nice it is in the summer. Porch swing view sunrise is beautiful. Love taking a walk down to tiny pond and enjoy the use of the kayaks. Can’t wait to come back next year and bring our kids to experience this beautiful place. Scott and Rose are so welcoming and there for anything if needed. Thank you for this amazing place!

Weekend Trip to Riverfront Ritz Campsite
I strongly recommend staying at this beautiful camp site, Rita is absolutely amazing we had great time, watching the stars at night was very nice and relaxing. Lake George is near by for great times and views. I’d recommend bringing at AWD car or suv/truck. RITA is the best host ever anything you need she will respond and give right away. We will definitely come back in the summer.

Such an amazing weekend! Spectacular views, kayaking down the river, glamping at its finest with literally everything you need. Seriously, bring bedding, food, a good book, and a power bank and you are set. Rita is such a lovely and thoughtful host. We will definitely be back. Very limited service with Verizon which personally I loved to be able to escape for a weekend. We've been fortunate to stay at a lot of cool hipcamps and airbnbs/vrbos but this is one for the books 😊

We had a wonderful long weekend at Ripley Hill Cabin. The property and surrounding areas are beautiful. The caretaker we met, Scott, was helpful and informative on what the area has to offer for hiking, swimming, and fishing. The cabin is private, peaceful, with great star gazing at night. The cabin is large, with plenty of space to not be on top of each other with a large group. It was clean and very well stocked. We can't wait to come back next year!

Weekend Trip to Riverfront Ritz Campsite
Rita was an amazing host and the camping area was awesome! She was super friendly and walked us through how to use everything right when we got there. We loved being secluded on the water and spent a lot of time kayaking on the River. She really has thought about everything you could want in a glamping situation and it was more stocked than any other hip camp we’ve stayed in. We also had our two dogs who were able to be off leash and they had a blast! We would highly suggest this to anybody looking for a great experience

Absolutely loved our stay here. Peaceful, well stocked, Rose and Scott were very helpful and welcoming. Couldn't have asked for a better place for our vacation. My dog Olive especially loved her stay.

3 nights at Scott’s Summit
Paige and I had a wonderful time at Scott’s site! The views were incredible, beautiful sunrises and sunsets were had. The site itself had a lot of great amenities and was well maintained. Scott was a phenomenal host who quickly answered any of the questions we had and gave us plenty of privacy. Plenty of great trails to hike around just a short drive away. Would highly recommend having a larger vehicle like an SUV to get to the site and navigate the terrain. I drive a Toyota rav4 and got around just fine. Would definitely recommend this site, we had a phenomenal time.

We had a great time during our second family trip to Forest Echo. We enjoyed playing at the farm pond and watching the wildlife (including two beavers). The stars were beautiful and we had nice nights by the fire pit.

Where to begin....
1. We had an awesome view of the river.
2. We needed ice and new gas tank for the grill and Rita was extremely accommodating.
3. We had all the grown up toys to play on the river.
4. The beds were comfortable.
5. Our dogs were so happy not to be leashed.
6. There was a working shower!
7. All we needed to bring was food, cooling packs or ice, bed linens and pillows. We packed two families in one vehicle.
8. Even with six people and two dogs we had room to move around the camp
9. Loved the kayaks and peddle board
10. Never needed to go to the town beach!

We loved staying at Ripley Hill cabin! The cabin was beautiful and clean, and the surrounding land was breathtaking. We also loved being in such close proximity to Buttermilk Falls which is gorgeous and has multiple swimming holes to enjoy! Scott and Rose were spectacular hosts. They were available to us and clear with their expectations and instructions. Thank you!

We loved camping at this site! My friends and I threw a surprise birthday party for my husband who loves being out in nature and being active outdoors. This site provided us exactly that! We swam and spent all day at the pond, gazed at the stars at night and spent a lot of time playing games by a campfire. The site is well stocked, I didn’t even need to bring much utensils for the kitchen. We will definitely come back. It’s the most relaxed I’ve ever been. And the fact that there wasn’t electricity helped us recharge away from our devices! I give this site 5 stars all around. Thank you so much!

4 nights at Scott’s Summit
We had a lovely stay at Scott’s tent. The view was absolutely beautiful and made the entire stay worthwhile! It was also such a perk having a flushing toilet and creek water for washing. If you’re thinking of booking Scott’s tent, a couple of things to note: Although there is a road that takes you close to the tent, you have to park in a designated parking area which requires about 200 feet of an uphill hike to get your things to the tent. The paths were a little overgrown and the road up was a little tricky. We had no issues in our Jeep Wrangler, but I probably wouldn’t want to drive the road in anything with lower clearance or a much wider body. You can hear the highway at the site, but we got used to it after the first day. There is a flushing toilet in a tent not too far from the main camp, which we loved having available! The site is also very private, which we loved! All in all, as long as you feel comfortable with the drive and hike up, this was a nice spot to spend a long weekend.

The site was amazing. It came with everything you need. Plenty of potable water, dishes, cups, cutlery, tables, chairs, solar lights, kayaks, etc. Granted we came with everything we would need but if you just brought food and yourselves you would be good. Site was great, 2 big heavy duty “tents” with a bed and plenty of room for our rotties bed as well. We came with one other couple and our dogs but can easily accommodate another couple. Great fire pit and a separate couch and eating area with picnic table. Waterfront Ritz is an accurate name. If you like fishing, morning 7-9a and night 6-8p was the best. We got 1 sunny, 3 big carp and my wife pulled in a nice size pike (no idea how). It’s extremely private and it has everything you need. If you happen to forget something, or run out of beer, the town is 5 minutes away. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay and look forward to visiting again. 10 out of 10.

We loved sleeping on the screened-in porch and watching the fireflies every evening. Tiny Pond was just a short walk away and was great for swimming and paddling. The cabin provided just the right mix of rustic with access to some modern amenities (lights, shower, hot running water).

This was one of our best summer vacations yet! The Cabin was cozy and we loved our nightly fires inside! Playing scrabble and disconnecting after 5pm truly bonded our family together! I would recommend this place to anyone looking to bond as a family and get in touch with nature!

1 night at Blue Ledge Farm Cottage
Delightful experience. The site is pretty and peaceful, and the scenic views over the landscape are amazing. The cabin is well-appointed and homey, and decorated with beautiful original art by the hosts that you can buy! The site is just steps from a working goat farm - and you can buy farm cheeses on the premises. Hannah is a great host - she left us a sample of one of the cheeses as a welcome. If you can, take a tour of the farm; it’s really interesting and you get to meet the goats! Definitely recommended for cheese nerds!
