. full-connection RV site near Lake Wallenpaupack. It is within a campground that was formerly a “Jellystone Park” and is now comprised of privately owned individual lots for camper units. Most lots have seasonally occupied park model homes and large campers. The host’s part-time residence is next door. The site is an open (no trees) level gravel pad with water, sewer and electric connections plus high speed WiFi. There are tall oak trees adjacent to the lot. The site has a fire ring and a picnic table. Big Bear campground is gated for security (you will be assigned a code) and has an outdoor pool (summer only), a playground and picnic pavilion, and walking trails. There is a community dumpster. Shopping, eateries, ice cream, pizza, a brewery-restaurant, groceries and laundry in Hawley are within a 7 minute (3 mile) drive. The Lake dam at sunset is popular. Walt’s Landing marina on Lake Wallenpaupack is within a 4 minute (1.5 mile) drive. The interior campground roads have speed bumps and an owner-enforced posted 5.5 mph speed limit. A leashed pet and a supplemental tent for those in your party are allowed. There are evening quiet hours. Other things to note 0.1 acre lot, full RV connection (water, sewer, electric, WiFi) on a level gravel pad, near other camper units. Fire ring and picnic table. Check-In Check-in starts on Thursday from 6 pm to 8 pm. If you arrive on Friday, check-in is available from 11 am to 6 pm. Online self-check-in is also available. Please note that no check-ins are allowed on Saturdays. Respect Other Guests: - Respect the privacy of other campers; avoid passing through occupied campsites, especially those with children. Pool Safety: - Children must be accompanied and supervised by adults at all times in the pool area. Checkout: Checkout is Sunday at 12:00pm, please make sure that you’re campsite is left clean. Bicycle and Scooter Safety: - Helmets must be worn when riding bicycles or scooters within the campground. Cleanliness: - Ensure all garbage at your site is collected, placed in bags, and disposed of in designated bins around the camp. Toilet Use: - Use provided tissues for flushing; DO NOT flush wipes or other non-biodegradable materials. Campfire Safety: - Never leave a campfire unattended; ensure fires are fully extinguished before leaving. Visitor Policy: - Guests are welcome until 10 PM; they must park at the office and check-in upon arrival. Driving: - Maintain a maximum speed limit of 5 MPH within the campground. Pets: - Pets are not allowed in the campground. Camp Equipment: - Do not relocate any camp Shabbat equipment without permission. Picnic tables should be returned if moved Firewood Policy: - Only use firewood available for purchase onsite; outside firewood is not permitted. Parking: - Never block roads or park on them, even for unloading. Park only at your designated site. - Over Shabbat, cars should be parked at the campground entrance, not at the sites. Respect Jewish Guidelines: - Please observe Shabbos practices and dress modestly (tznius) while on the campground.
