Escape to nature while enjoying the comforts of the broader resort campus in our A-Frame units, providing a unique lodging experience adorned with comfortable beds and a touch of Camp Callicoon charm. Accessible via hiking trails through the backside of the retreat’s 23-acres, enjoy a meandering hike or ride with us through the grounds of one of our golf carts. The glamping ridge area features rolling woodlands, fire pits, and a bathhouse with private bathrooms and individual rain showers. Immerse yourself in a unique, comfortable outdoor adventure, surrounded by the serene beauty of the Western Catskill’s nature. The only place we allow smoking or vaping, of any kind, is in the designated area in front of the hotel. You will be charged a $250 fine for smoking and or vaping in your room or on hotel premises.

Stony Creek Farmstead

Stony Creek Farmstead is already home to a herd of Belted Galloway beef cows, a flock of Clun Forrest sheep, Tamworth pigs, hundreds of chickens, and a pair of dairy cows. We host farm stays in gorgeous platform tents equipped with everything including the kitchen sink! (beds for 6, a wood cookstove, flush toilet) The farm also offers private campsites in the hills and along the valley. Walk up the creek with your feet in it's cool water, take a hike to the pine forest, join the farm tour, make your own pizza in our wood fired brick oven on a Saturday night. 
You will have access to a beautiful outdoor shower house, our farm store brimming with meats, eggs, and organic veggies from the farm as well as local cheeses, yogurts, and other goodies. Come discover the Catskills!

he platform tents can sleep six people. There’s a room with a king-size bed, a cabinet bed for two, and another room with a bunk bed. We illuminated our room with the provided solar laterns as well as a set of string LEDs.

You won’t go hungry on your farm stay. The farm store stocks their own meat, eggs, and vegetables as well as other products such as pancake mix, syrup, yogurt, soup, dish soap, t-shirts, yarn, and more.

Coffee always tastes better when enjoyed outdoors.

LoftBarn

The LoftBarn is part of a dairy farm that dates back to the 19th century.  When we bought the property in 1990, it was a garage for vintage cars.  Since we've owned it, it's been an antique shop, a performance space, a rental unit and now a airbandb. 
Learn more about this land:LoftBarn is a 19th century barn that has been set up as a living space.  It is about fifty feet from our home but is secluded by trees.  It sits on the bank of a year around stream and there is a bridge across the stream leading to a pond and open land.  LoftBarn will accommodate four people or five in a pinch.  LoftBarn has huge exposed beams downstairs and a forty foot long loft upstairs.  It is both rustic and chic.  There is a complete bathroom and kitchen with amenities.  The decor is funky mid century and comfortable.  There is a new king sized Ikea bed upstairs and a queen sized  high density foam bed downstairs.  The vibe is relaxed and not precious.  

Tipi Glamping Catskills

Reconnect with nature at Bellfire. This glamping getaway is located in one of the best places for stargazing in NY. Wool blankets, wood stove, and miles to roam in a sparsely populated, picturesque area for a perfect private getaway.  We chose the location of the Tipi with privacy and tranquility in mind nestled between a creek, maple trees, and wildflower field. The tipi is located 500 ft from the parking lot.

Hidden Chalet -We are open!

An alternative camping experience. The Hidden Chalet Campgrounds is only minutes away from downtown Roscoe where you can enjoy local shopping, brewery and restaurants. Many wonderful places to visit around the area such as Dundas Castle, Roscoe O&W Railway Museum, Beaverkill Covered Bridge and lots more. While on campgrounds grab your fishing rod and enjoy our stocked pond, sit by the ever flowing brook, build a campfire and take in the serenity of beautiful upstate NY.  Items to remember to bring: Sheets/blankets/towels, trash bags, mosquito spray, sunscreen, matches, lantern/flashlight/batteries, toilet paper. (Some items may be available for purchase.)

The Ravens Nest is a re-purposed box truck with electric and hot water. The truck has bunk-beds, a kitchenette (with sink, stove, coffee maker, propane grill), breakfast bar, living area, and deck. 

The deck outside the Ravens Nest (a re-purposed box truck) overlooks the pond. A perfect place for coffee or a cocktail.

The upper level of the property has a fantastic shower room with toilet.

Can you believe this? The Ravens Nest not only has electric and hot water but also has a kitchenette with sink, stove, coffee maker, propane grill, and breakfast bar. Perfect to sit at and gaze outside at the pond.

The lower level of the property has a gorgeous bathroom. You simply can't call this an outhouse.

Spend time walking through the wooded area.

This one-room chalet (a.k.a. The Secret Chalet) was under construction when we visited. The chalet will definitely be my choice on a return visit! No, you're not imagining the slants and waves. Seriously, such a cool design.

This area of the Catskills is known as the birthplace of fly-fishing. A stream runs adjacent to the property. Inquire with Joseph about fly-fishing lessons.

Cold Spring Lodge

Cold Spring Lodge in Big Indian, NY has 7 rustic cabins with real wood burning fireplaces and 5 hotel rooms.
