Amazing little camping spot, we have 6 cabins on site nestled in the woods as well as a guest room we rent.   Check in 5 to 9 pm 

  Check out 11 am at latest

 

   Nice back porch with hot tub- bar- table- grill. Pavilion with picnic table at the main house. Plenty of Parking. Only the country cabin you can drive right up to the cabin or our lodge cabin. The rest of the rentals you MUST WALK to. No big hills. Super quiet spot in nature. Unplug and reconnect with nature and each other. Leashed dogs are welcome. No cats allowed inside any rentals. Please do not bring animals who are known to be unfriendly towards humans and; other animals.

From may 1 to Oct 30 , we have a seasonal flush toilet. Off season from Oct 31 to end of April , we have a primitive outhouse for guest use

Hot tub use : only touch the 2 left buttons which are keys and lights. Do not touch other buttons cover must be put back on after use. No loose trash put in our trash cans

Lake Of The Woods Cabin Camp HST

Welcome to our charming cabin, built in the summer of 2022 from a simple 12X26 Amish frame. 

*Important note: Lake Rd is busy and there will be road noise that dies down after 11pm. There is a historic and active railroad line behind the cabin and you will hear the train pass through the day and night. Some people have found it cool or relaxing but others have not.

Nestled on its own 4-acre parcel within our family's 12-acre plot, this cozy retreat offers a private driveway and setting for your getaway.

New additions this year include a fire ring and porta-potty, adding to the complete experience of your stay. Just a mile down the road, you'll find access to Lake Erie, boasting a small beach and kayak slip. On clear nights, don't miss the opportunity to gaze at the stunning stars above.

Your host, Brian, has infused the cabin with photography and treasures from his global journeys, adding a unique touch to your stay. The hosts philosophy is to not bother you at all during your stay unless you have a specific need or concern, so your stay is all yours. The price is kept low to reflect this a campsite rental, not a hosted Airbnb. With that said every effort is made to make things comfy.

True campsite experience and not an Airbnb rental, meaning there is no electricity, water, or sewer on the property. However, we provide battery packs and solar options for your convenience. The dish sink operates with a foot pump connected to a 5-gallon water jug. Guests are welcome to bring their own wood or explore the surrounding area for available resources.

For your safety, please exercise caution when venturing into the woods and avoid approaching the active train tracks located at the back of the property.

While the passing train adds to the rustic charm of the setting, it may NOT be suitable for light sleepers. Road traffic noise tends to calm down in quiet hours. 

Bed sleeps 2 but up to 3 welcome.

Campground Adventures

Pitch your tent, bring your RV camper or stay at one of our glamping sites at Campground Adventures and stay next to the Ischua Creek. Bring your kayak/canoe and fishing pole and enjoy the adventure. 

At your site you will have access to water connection and 20/30 Amps service. Each site will have a picnic table and a fire ring. 
Outdoor communal kitchen, just steps away from your accommodation. Equipped with a Weber propane grill, Blackstone griddle, fridge/freezer, hotplate, drip coffee maker, microwave, toaster, waffle maker, and a range of dishes, pots, pans, and utensils, it's the perfect space for preparing meals. Our bathhouse is located within a short walking distance of your site. There are hot showers, a changing area, and flush toilets.


May Farms

Secluded area of field and trees on old family farm. Property is 97 acres. Near Presque Isle state Park and Lake Erie beaches. Hike Wintergreen Gorge near by too. The surrounding area and city offers amusement park, bicentennial tower, shopping and indoor water park. We are only about 10 minutes off I90.

Country Cabin

The cabin is located on my now husband's family property. They raise beef cattle, corn, oats, and hay, and have owned the land since the 1930s. Our hilltop is beautiful, but we may be biased! It is generally quiet and we have wonderful sunrises and sunsets. We are thrilled to share our corner of the world with you!Learn more about this land:Step away and enjoy an unplugged weekend at the Country Cabin! The one-room cabin has a double bed, (linens provided), and table and chairs.

The view from the porch overlooks agricultural land and it's not rare to see deer grazing near sunset. Relax by the fire or explore the adjacent PA State Game Lands on foot or bike.&nbsp;Boat and fish the Allegheny River that's a short drive from the cabin.&nbsp;

The cabin does not have electricity or running water. Firewood, indoor heat, electric lanterns, and an outhouse are available for guest use. Minimal AT&T and Verizon cell service.

In winter an AWD or 4WD vehicle is recommended to access the cabin. 

Guests are provided with fire-starting supplies and firewood for their stay. 

Enjoy beautiful hilltop views from the porch.

The Highlander

Vintage camp with some creature comforts.  Electric cooking range, microwave, coffee pot, small refrigerator TV and blu-ray player.  Outdoor propane grill, charcoal .grill and fire ring.  There is no running water in the camp.  There is an outhouse for toilet facilities.  We provide filtered water for drinking and cooking.  We also provide fire wood.

This is a secluded private island on the Allegheny River. It has been a family property for years and many people have created great memories here. It is great for solo campers wanting a peaceful space, kayakers on river trips, family groups (magic for kids and dogs!)

Arrive by car to our parking area where we will boat you and your gear over to the island campsite. There will be 1 round trip in the motorized john boat per group. Guests are permitted to use the aluminum canoe with lifejackets only to ferry items. 

PADDLE IN! KAYAKERS/CANOES/MULTI-DAY RIVER TRIP PADDLERS!

Arrive by kayak or canoe off the river while you are on a paddle trip. Singles, small groups and large groups. 

Campsites are PERFECT for Scouts trips, team building trips with kayak rental options. 

Cabin rentals are great for couples, families, friends, reunions, fishing trips, large groups trips and more! Wildlife photographers must see location!

Charming Farmhouse On Working Farm

A 4bd 1bath farmhouse on a working farm backing onto hundreds of acres of Pa State Game Lands property. Conveniently located near the best hunting, fishing, hiking and biking trails Pennsylvania has to offer. This 100 yr old farmhouse is on a 284 acre working farm. Approximately 15 mins from Tidioute and the Allegheny River and about 7 mins from the Brokenstraw creek.

Dragon Camp

Hi I have a camper out back of my property right next to the woods. It has a shower, toilet, tv, wifi ,kueric coffee ,microwave ,stovetop pots and pans , fridge/freezer . It also has 2 queen beds and all blankets pillows etc. It also has a firepit with free wood and firestarters and also a gas bbq grill to use.

The Boedo Pavillion

Welcome to our secluded 10-acre wooded retreat accessible via a private drive. Discover a tranquil haven featuring a picnic pavilion and tables, complemented by a fully-equipped cookhouse with charcoal grills. Unwind around the firepit, or engage in a friendly game of Horseshoes. For those seeking a rustic experience, cabins are available, and there's a charming rustic outhouse on-site.  Situated just one mile from the scenic Sunset Bay USA on Alleghany Rd, our location offers proximity to restaurants and is only half a mile from Rosebrook Golf Course. Conveniently located off NYS Thruway exit 58, we are nestled between two state parks—Evengola State Park and Lake Erie State Park—both within easy driving distance. Immerse yourself in the natural beauty and recreational opportunities that surround our retreat. Right down the street from the boat launch bring your boat and spend the day on beautiful Lake Erie. Seasonally there is water onsite May 15-Oct 15.

You'll notice a handful of weekends that the campground is closed or would appear fully booked; those may be times that we have ticketed music festivals happening, in which case you can find that information on our main website. 

Our many camping and lodging options allow families to relax, enjoy nature, and create memories. We have around 100 sites throughout our 300 acres, some woodsy, some with views of the rolling hills and some with electric service. 

The Heron grounds boast a swimming and fishing pond, and over 4 miles of on-site hiking trails. Located on over 400 acres in beautiful Chautauqua County, NY, we are a working organic farm with a shiitake mushroom yard and on-site farm store. 

We host weddings, educational workshops, retreats, private events, captivating music festivals, and much more! 

We offer many different options for camping, from tent sites nestled in the woods to RV sites with electric hook-ups (electric site reservations are to be made on that specific listing and are limited). 

We allow pets, all dogs must on a leash 6ft or shorter in length and held by an adult, there is a $20/stay pet fee for pets that can be paid prior to arrival. 

Beach/Swimming Rules: Two adults 18 or over are required to supervise when there are children swimming. (Even if only one child is present.)
No swimming outside of the designated/roped swim area.
No watercraft allowed anywhere in the pond.
Do not use soap in the water, we have showers!
No alcohol, no glass or open containers.
On-site Phone is for Emergencies only (located in the beach hut to the left of the beach area). Creating a reservation is your agreement with this rule.

The Crosspatch

Family owned for 41 years!  The Crosspatch got it's name because it is a triangular piece of land located between Route 242, Route 353  and Baker Road,  the patch between the crossroads!  The Crosspatch has been a working horse ranch in the beautiful Enchanted Mountains of New York for many yearsLearn more about this land:We have two camping areas,  one with a pavilion and outhouses and a creek and one with only walk to (approx one third mile hike private access,  in the woods.)&nbsp; Both beautiful and private.

Shine On Valley

ShineOn Valley is a 75-acre valley located on the Amish Trail on the Chautaugua/ Cattaraugus County line. This valley is quiet & secluded. The only sounds heard are nature which includes the pitter-patter of horse & buggy passings. Local Amish shops provide a wide range of products & services. New York's largest population of endangered species live at ShineOn Valley & in the surrounding area. Rare plants & animals can be seen on nature walks using our numerous trails. Guided tours are available for booking. Hunting opportunities are booked according to seasons & licensing.

Cozy country farm house

Come and enjoy WNY winter sports!! We are ideally located for skiing, tubing and boarding directly between Peek N Peek (43 miles) or Holiday Valley (40 miles). There are snowmobile trail heads 5 miles from our location.  Be in the country yet just 5 minutes from 4 local wineries and 10 minutes from dining/shopping. We have kept the farm house feel with plenty of room for a family. This is a single occupancy listing. Your party will be the only guests. We do have a separate living space in our barn so only parking is shared. Originally 100 acres was purchased by the Deering family back in the 1800's from the Holland Land company. Then sometime near 1900 the farm was split between two brothers, each receiving 50 acres. The home was originally built in 1903 and is currently updated and remodeled for today’s codes and standards. 47 acres of accessible woods and pasture remain for hiking and at the top of the property a breath-taking view across Lake Erie into Ontario Canada.

Why book a site when you can have a house?&nbsp;This cozy country farm house, situated on 47 acres that has a breath-taking view overlooking Lake Erie into Canada, worth the hike up the hill. 1st floor living, remodeled kitchen and bath with all new appliances, bedroom has a new queen bed. 4 season home has gas appliances and heat. Great location for winter sports just 20 minutes from the newly renovated and reopened Cockaigne ski resort, and it’s just miles from access to marked snow mobile trails. Mud room makes it easy to shed and store boots and jackets. Spring time activities includes “March maple syrup madness” and exploring the Amish communities of Chautauqua county. For summertime it is just minutes to the Lake Erie shoreline and Dunkirk harbor for aquatic activities. In the Fall you cannot beat the canopy of colors. There are 4 wonderful wineries within 5 miles of your door, bring a bottle home and enjoy it by an outdoor campfire, or just sit on the patio and look up at the night sky. Zoar Valley Forest Retreat

🌿Private forested land along the ledge of Zoar Valley. Large, spacious campsite areas, that are great for groups. A rare location that is secluded and quiet, away from people and traffic. For those that want to feel isolated and immersed in nature and the forest or watch for wildlife! Includes seven acres to primitive camp on or bring an RV/camper in (10ft clearance at gate). Each site has a picnic table, and brick fire pit.
