HBC is a retreat destination for mountain biking, skiing, and hiking, with private access to Green Woodland’s 23,000 acres of public trails next door! Our trails feature hand and machine-built features for riders of all skill levels. Under an hour of driving will get you to Mt. Moosilauke on the Appalachian Trail, renowned climbing at the Rumney Crags, and dozens of pristine NH lakes. Back on the farm, our swimming holes, hammocks, and communal fire pit offer peace and community connection after a full day of outdoor adventures. Guests are encouraged to recreate and restore amidst the natural beauty of our rural property, explore our orchards and vegetable gardens, and enjoy open-air, leisurely dining at our on-farm restaurant. We are a small southern New Hampshire farm nestled away in Richmond, specializing in forest-fed pork and free range poultry. We take pride in our commitment to raise wholesome, nutritious food for our community and neighbors while protecting and nurturing the land we call home. We are the stewards of an 85 acre farm which is mostly covered by forest with some pasture and several running brooks. The pigs are rotated through movable paddocks which allows them to be pigs. We have a ton of wildlife on the property. We have a ton of wild turkey, deer, moose, fox, mink, beaver, raccoon, porcupine, and the occasional bear. If you bring your dog, please be aware of the wildlife and other dogs. During certain season there are wild currants, blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, mountain sorrel and more. Please enjoy. ***We currently do not have any animals (except our dogs) on the farm this season as we are concentrating on a few other things at the moment.***

I wanted a cabin in the woods forever and my boys built me this awesome cabin! Drive down in good weather, walk or snowshoe in winter, about 3-400 yards. Beautiful, DRY {No running water}, no electricity cabin. Called "Unplugged" for several reasons: No electricity, No internet and most phones don't work! Bring books! 16 x 20 with a loft with stairs. Queen bed in loft and futon downstairs. Has an outhouse. Stocked with basics for cooking on regular size grill, small grill and new 2 burner camp stove. Cabin is well insulated, uses a Big Buddy heater for heat in winter .The rain barrel is only for water for fire pit! Not drinkable!! You fill the black bucket and put it near fire pit while having a camp fire.

Our property has 187 acres to explore and hiking trails. There is an 8-acre pond for fishing (catch and release), paddleboats, kayaks and Jon boats. There is no charge to use our paddleboats, kayaks, or Jon boats. In Stewartstown and the surrounding area, guests have so many natural attractions to visit, including Beaver Brook Falls and Lake Francis, both within 15 miles of the Ladd Pond. The Washburn Family Forest nearby is the perfect place to go for a hike through nature and spot local wildlife. For an action experience, guests can try the ATV trails or the exciting snowmobile trails in winter. Close to ATV trails and direct access to Snowmobile trails.

Browns Ridge Family Farm!

We are one of the first farms in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire and was originally the first stage coach stop for the area. Our house built in 1750s and at one point had hundreds of acres passed down which were passed down from a kings grant The original area was named after the original settlers, the Browns. Our house was also tavern in the beginning. This property has only passed hands through 4 families and remained with the Browns for most of its life. It has stayed as a farm for most of its tenure. We own 40 acres of pasture and woods and would love for you to come stay!

This property overlooking the beautiful Connecticut river has two cabins to choose from, one sleeps two people and the other can accommodate three. The property is such a peaceful spot! We have a rustic outhouse and showers can be taken in the main farmhouse on the property if you would like, available Monday thru Saturday from 8am to 9am. The cabin is outfitted with a comfy bed, fridge, and microwave. We sell firewood to sit around a cozy campfire at night and stargaze! You can even purchase a S'mores package as well! Enjoy a cup of coffee from the Keurig machine in the mornings. Bottled water is included as well. We will do our best to make you feel at home away from home. In a way that is never intrusive, we respect your privacy. Come and unwind with nature all around you. We are very pet friendly! And ask that all dogs are on a leash while outside. Also pets are not to be left in the cabins unattended at any time. So with all that said get yourself and your pets here and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning on your deck looking out to the river. Don't set an alarm, the loons or geese may wake you first! Listen to the birds and relax! And if luck is with you, you might spot a bald eagle! Want to play with goats? We have them! Fresh eggs are available for sale! Hiking trails are nearby including Groton State Forest, hiking near Willoughby Lake is only about 45 minutes away and is worth the trip! Come experience the green mountains and we are not far from the White mountains of NH.
