Learn about off grid living and camping, water systems and compost toilets or just enjoy your time in the forest. A great place to star gaze. There are many great places to hike, take a dip in the Bear River or just relax by the creek and unwind from the city life. Just a short walk to the Bear River. A small stream runs right through the property. You may even book the stream site to enjoy it close up. A very short drive to Emerald Pools, Lake Spaulding and South Yuba River. Truckee or North Shore Lake Tahoe just 30-40 minute drive for a day trip. There is also a great eatery just up the road, right off Highway 80, if you are interested in a lunch out. Weekend Trip to Camp WAN-NA-B at Bear Valley

Great area..lots of trees and shade. Fun to be more off grid and away from a traditional campground. Host,Lorrie, is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area for places to hike wander and play in the river. Very much in line with outdoor ethic and leave no trace concepts. We will definitely return for a longer visit.
