Our property sits on 2 acres in the heart of Las Vegas. It is one of the original homesteads of Las Vegas which we are trying to take back to a homestead. The original owners of the property played a huge hand in the building of Vegas. As we have cleaned up the property treasures of a 100 years ago have been found all over the property. On the property you will find a huge garden out front that you are welcome to pick from. We also have over 50 trees on the property you are welcome to walk around and enjoy. If you find yourself in the duck coop or the chicken coop and find an egg you are welcome to enjoy it. Feel free to enjoy the pool, bbq and outside bathroom which has a shower, and full size washer and dryers. We are a smoke/drug free site please be respectful of this rule and violators will be asked to leave without refund. Because we are a "working hobby farm" you will see some weeds and you may even see a project or two we are working on, feel free to join in but please be understanding that in order for us to improve things it will get little messy and can take time to complete. Also, please check the weather before you book, Vegas if very hot during the summer months, if your rig doesn't have AC you will not be comfortable as night temps can be easily over 100.

Hike through the mountains and even down to Colorado River. Rent kayaks at the property to drive them down, a 7 min drive off the property. Hike through the mountains and even down to Colorado River. Rent kayaks at the property to drive them down, a 7 min drive off the property. This property is secluded and in a remote area with limited cell service. AT&T and Verizon have limited service, other carriers do not. This property is accessible by off road vehicle only, otherwise you may park your car in parking which is 4-7 minutes away from your tent by our shuttle. Off road vehicle means a 4x4 to drive over a rocky trail.
To access your tent, you will be required to schedule the shuttle for check in. A host will drive out to meet you to take you to your tent. Must be scheduled in advance. Check in is between 3pm and 9pm only. The host does not live on property and travels for your scheduled check in time.

Jeffry’s Farm was a very convenient location for our needs. It is under a flight path, but we found this not to be a problem. Evenings were fairly peaceful and we actually enjoyed watching the planes come in during the day. Parking area was fairly flat and easy to get in and out of. We would stay here again if in the area.

Pleasantly surprised by how well organized, secure, and clean this park was. The office staff accepts mail and packages. The entrance is staffed 24/7. Yes, it's asphalt with fairly snug sites but it's an urban park so get used to it. But there are lots of palm trees to green things up and several dog runs plus a big public dog park not 2 miles away.

If your concern is having a quiet and peaceful RV park in Vegas that also has 24/7 security, this is it. When my wife and I were there, we actually left the RV for over 24 hours while we watched the sunset in Santa Monica. Not once did I feel the need to check the security systems in place on the RV. When we came back later on (1 am) the security guard on duty stood right up and ready. A pretty safe and quiet place. The price is actually good with all hookups and being in Vegas as well. Think we paid $45 daily for out 23ft RV? Planned on staying 2 nights and we stayed 5 instead. Not bad at all.

This retro RV was awesome! There is definitely a reason that this is the top hipcamp in Nevada. Heather measured the camper for us before we came to make sure our baby pack-n-play would fit. The view was awesome and the porch was a great place to spend the evening. The water in the outdoor shower was the perfect temp. Would come again.

What a great spot! I can’t guarantee this place enough as a jumping off or landing pad for a Grand Canyon trip. The RV hookups are easy to find and use. The full working bathroom was an added bonus. Leo’s land was perfect for our last night after a long two weeks of dispersed camping. Nellis AFB and Las Vegas Vicinity
The Desert Eagle RV Park, which is only available to DoD cardholders and retirees, offers
full and partial hookup sites, while private RV parks and resorts, and plentiful amenities, can be found within the Las Vegas city limits. For rock climbing, hiking, biking, horseback riding, and seasonal camping, head to the Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, west of the Las Vegas Strip. North of Las Vegas, the Desert National Wildlife Refuge offers wildlife and free primitive, backcountry, and dispersed car camping.
Valley of Fire State Park
Northeast of Nellis AFB, Valley of Fire State Park offers a surreal landscape of red sandstone canyons and cliffs in the Mojave Desert. Tent and RV camping is available at two campgrounds inside the park, including one that’s open year-round, while dispersed camping options can be found outside the west and east entrances to the park.
Lake Mead National Recreation Area
With 1.5 million acres of mountains, canyons and two lakes, Lake Mead National Recreation Area offers water recreation, along with hiking and biking trails. Camping options include around 900 public tent and RV sites across more than a dozen national park and concessionaire-run campgrounds. Car, horseback, shoreline, and backcountry camping options are also available.
Spring Mountains National Recreation Area
Part of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, Mount Charleston and the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area offers a respite from the desert heat. Recreation options include hiking, biking, rock climbing, and winter activities, including a ski resort. Camping options include rustic cabins, developed campgrounds, backcountry sites, and dispersed camping in three wilderness areas.
When to go
Nellis AFB offers tours of the base Mondays through Fridays from September to May. Tours are not available over the summer due to the extreme high temperatures in the desert. The base holds large “Reg Flag” combat exercises throughout the year, which visitors can view from outside the base. Spring and fall offer the best weather for most outdoor recreation in the area. Head to Lake Mead for summer recreation and Mount Charleston for winter sports.
