It was a beautiful spot close to lake that Wayne let us use along with his diving board, paddle boards and water trampoline. Wayne was very freindly and helpful. We had an amazing time and were only 1 hour away from glacier park.

We loved our stay here! Huge driveway / lot so it is very easy to navigate. Easy to get hooked up. Owner is lovely & has a large fenced in area right next to the rv spots that our pups enjoyed running around in. 15 mins to glacier entrance / going to the sun road (must see). Would stay again. Thank you!

Beautiful views. Quiet. We loved this place. It was perfect for exploring the west side of Glacier National Park, especially heading up to Polebridge and Bowman Lake. Jeff was a great host and very responsive. We would highly recommend!

Echo Lake was an absolute gem of a stay. The setting is peaceful and tranquil, with wide-open lake views that stretch out to the Mission Mountains. We were lucky enough to catch both sunrise and sunset over the water, and the colors reflecting off the lake were unforgettable. It’s the kind of spot that feels far removed from the noise of daily life.
Wayne, our host, could not have been more welcoming. He was friendly, attentive, and went out of his way to make sure we had a smooth stay. From helping us with parking to offering access to his dock and even giving us local trip advice, his hospitality really elevated the experience. It felt less like checking into a campground and more like being hosted by a thoughtful neighbor.
The site itself is set up with care. There are 4 RV spots that are easy to access, and everything is kept clean and orderly. The port-o-potty was spotless, and there were convenient trash cans available, which made the stay simple and stress-free. Having those amenities handled allowed us to just relax and enjoy the scenery. Very convenient off the highway up to Glacier and close to Flathead Lake, there’s plenty to do, or not do!
Overall, Echo Lake is a perfect mix of natural beauty and thoughtful hosting. Between the stunning mountain and lake views, Wayne’s kindness, and the well-maintained setup, we couldn’t have asked for more. I’d highly recommend this Hipcamp spot to anyone looking for a quiet retreat with incredible views and a welcoming host.

We had a wonderful week stay at Bullwinkle RV Site 1. It's an ideal location to serve as a basecamp to explore in and around Glacier National Park. The site and property is very well maintained. It was great chatting with Dan and Shawn and learning more about the surrounding area and activities. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at Dan's , it was so close to glacier national Park and having Cole hookup was wonderful. Would highly recommend staying here if anybody's looking for a close spot to the park, a quiet place to camp, and great people to have conversations with.

Dan’s property is very nice! Plenty of room for our large 5th wheel. Very nice fenced yard for our dog to run around in. The highlight is how close you are to Glacier NP, Hungry Horse Dam and Hiking Trails.

We fell in love with Echo Lake and enjoyed our stay in our motorhome on Wayne’s property. Wayne was an excellent host and the grounds were clean and exactly what we needed. He even got out on a ladder with my husband to help trim some trees back to assure we didn’t scratch our rig while driving in (we have a super C motorhome). Being able to use the dock was amazing; we left our flight boards on the dock and felt comfortable that nothing would be stolen. We were sad to leave and hope to make it back next summer. Thank you Wayne!

Wayne was a great host! His site was better than I could've imagined. Amazing views, easy access to the water, clean, and peaceful. We had our 37’ Jayco Seneca Super C and it was no problem getting in and out of the campsite. I don’t know that I would try with anything bigger though.
