Our Property is mostly treed with open spaces scattered throughout. Conveniently located right off Hwy 62 and Houseman Access Rd, we are minutes away from Beaver Lake, The White River, and Table Rock Lake, as well as Mark Twain National Forrest. Nearby you can find a full 18-Hole Disk Golf course, Beaver Bridge aka The Little Golden Gate, a plethora of Hiking & Riding trails, Swimming, Floating, Boating, Fishing, Nightlife/Entertainment (The Farm and SideBar,) and many other activities to keep you busy before you ever step foot in town! Potable Well Water is available onsite to fill containers. There are several great spots for
Hammocks! We have 1 cut in site and several dispersed potential sites- you can pull off the driveway to camp or walk into the woods to camp in a more secluded spot. The more secluded spots are not accessible by car we have a wagon and can help you haul gear if you ask. Please remember when choosing a spot- this is a leave no trace, pack in pack out property and, most importantly, our home so please be mindful of waste and take out whatever you bring in with you including trash. Even though we are right off Hwy 62, we have a full line of trees separating us from the highway so you don’t see it, but can hear it slightly. Overall it’s a quiet spot with beautifully manicured flowerbeds and wild vegetation to the enjoy including butterfly bushes, zinnias, and other popular pollinator/butterfly attractants! Fires are allowed as long as proper Fire Safety Guidelines are followed (including use of a fire ring/barrier and ensuring your fire is properly extinguished. There’s LOTS of rock available onsite to make a fire ring.) Split firewood is available onsite for a small fee, or feel free to harvest wood from the woods surrounding the property for free, but please do NOT bring or use Out of Region wood on our property due to pests. Bonus: I’m deeply Involved in the local music scene here and am a musician myself, so if you are a musician and would like to do some campfire picking while you are here-or aren’t a musician and Would enjoy the music- send me a message. We have a large fire pit near the house that’s perfect for pickin’ around. We are a pet friendly property, and have pets ourselves, but any pets brought onto the property MUST be dog friendly and kept on a leash/tether at all times.

TENT CAMPING: Pitch your tent near the creek or farther out in a patch on the edge of the woods. There are many beautiful camping spots. Feel free to build a fire for cooking, relaxing, or whatever. A cool part of camping here is that we are a mostly off-grid homestead (with wifi) and we are a small community. We raise ducks and geese along with many gardens and wild spaces, and we build really cool things out of our lands bountiful resources like our timber frame slipstraw and cob tiny house.
Your campsite can be just a couple minutes walk away from our main community center, or you are welcome to set up camp farther away and be more remote in the woods. There are multiple swimming holes along Little Creek, some more secluded ones that are clothing optional. We also have walking trails that you are welcome to enjoy.
CAR or RV CAMPING: We have a spot to park a small RV or camper and plug into electricity. You are also welcome to car camp.
We typically serve two communally shared meals every day and you are invited to join us for these. These meals are included in the price of your stay. You are also welcome to cook your own meals at one of the various fire pits here.

The loft bedroom space has a plush king sized bed and a full bathroom with a walk in shower. Our reading nook is the perfect spot to settle in and finish your favorite novel or watch nature from the treeline. We have a unique luggage lift to ‘carry’ anything from your bags to your morning coffee so you have free hands for the handrails. Small children should never be left unsupervised in the loft. We do have a locking gate at the top of the stairs to the loft for extra safety.
The main floor living room features a pull out couch and a recliner. There is a half bath adjacent to the kitchen. The dining table has an impeccable view to the outside and is the perfect size for cards or board games, which can be found in the TV console. Both floors have Smart TVs with complimentary YouTube TV and free Wifi for you to enjoy. You can connect to your Netflix, Hulu, etc to binge your favorites. The full kitchen has everything you should need for cooking, including pots and pans, a mixer, slow cooker, utensils, etc., as well as a coffeemaker with complimentary coffee. If you need anything please reach out!
Items to note:
If you're here while leaves are in bloom, please remember you'll need bug spray and sunscreen, which we keep available under the sink in the half bathroom downstairs. There are ticks, chiggers, ants, all the insects and animals nature intended. Our family always checks for ticks and showers after an adventure in the woods.
The gravel driveway is a bit steep for those who are not used to the Ozark Mountains. Unfortunately, you have to ‘go through it to get to it’ in order experience true privacy. Cars can make it without issues, just use caution. As you come in, drive slowly down hill. Trailers are not allowed in the parking area by the treehouse as it is not spacious enough. We have additional parking at the top at our home for boats, trailers or other vehicles. Just ask!
