77 acres of rolling hills along the headwaters of Haley's Creek with a 1 m waterfall into a 4-ft deep pool and beautiful hardwood and pine forest all around.  A Rustic road courses along with the creek and several offshoots for mountain biking or hiking.  The waterfall and pool are a 1/2 mile hike into the property on the primitive road.  Gravel is only provided at the entrance area, encircling the metal shed.  Any driving off the gravel runs a risk of getting stuck in the slippery clay/mud.  Rainwater barrels and 110 electricity are available at the metal shed.  See dozens of tree species old and young along the creek and wildlife including turkeys, deer, bobcat, raccoons, possums, hawks, rabbits etc.

Patch of Heaven offers a quite Location with beautiful open fields where Belted Galloway cattle graze throughout the day.  The campsite views
include a large pond or a secluded 5 acre grassy knoll .We are a family farm passionate about organics, Heritage breed animals, and teaching others how to be more self sufficient **** no matter where you live-rural, suburbs, city -it’s achievable!

After setting up camp you can relax by the fire and take in a beautiful sunset!

The cattle graze freely throughout the property and may even come visit your campsite!

When exploring the property you’ll meet some curious little piggies! Super cute and very friendly!

The location of the campsite is perfect to watch sunrise from.

Hike the property an hour before sunset for some beautiful golden views.

Follow the fence line to explore the green pastures filled with livestock.

There are friendly horses that roam the property and don’t mind curious onlookers.

This property has incredible night skies for all you stargazers out there.

The donkeys are especially friendly and love pats!

Payne Lane Farms & Campground

Less than two (2) miles off Interstate 20, just behind "Salvation's Cross" in Rayville, LA...

Our home was built by Mr. J. L. and Mrs. Gladys Keys in the 1970's. Mrs. Gladys used to work for my Grandmother at the local ladies dress shop. She and her husband often brought us fresh vegetables they raised on their "little piece of heaven." They had no children and all these years later, their idea of heaven became ours to take care of now. We are so blessed here at Payne Lane Farms.

You can safely camp in your travel trailer minutes off of I-20 on our wooded, rural lot minutes from town, convenience stores, food, and even dump stations.

The front orchard provides a refuge of shade and privacy while also allowing you to see everything around you. Rayville, Louisiana has great history and heritage and some fun artifacts to explore if you have an adventurous spirit. Good people and family owned businesses if services are needed while enroute-traveling.

Pull thru the front by turning to right of the mail box and not using the driveway! Maybe a little off road, but this is the country and it won’t hurt to just drive thru the yard sometimes. 

Fresh eggs for sale $3.50 dozen and maybe some fresh vegetables at $3.00 per pound, but ask us as we don't push them. Canning pantry does have inventory for easy meals.

Back Forty Farm

Back Forty is 10 acres nestled in among tall pines with beautiful flowers and birds to enjoy. Solid surface entrance of mill gravel; back in with room to get in and out easy.  We are 5 1/2 miles east of I-55. Crystal Springs offers shopping and good food.  Walking and biking. Come sit on the porch with us and enjoy the fresh air of country living. When the weather is nice we have the birds and beautiful flowers to enjoy.  Big rigs and small welcome
Our little town offer entertainment and flea markets some weekends. Vicksburg and Natchez are app 60 miles out. Walmart 11 miles.
