We offer 1 mile, 4 mile, 8 mile kayak and canoe trips. Gather Eggs from the property, except for the henhouse, for free from our free range chickens. No telling where they will be laying. Happy hunting. Hope you find a big bunch of eggs. You help us by keeping the eggs that are not in the henhouse picked up. Thankyou. Free firewood. Please cut up and burn as much dead wood, leaves as you want. Spare the live trees. You are paying for camping on our land. We provide a water hose and a 10 AMP 120 volt extension cord. Mornings: Breathe in the fresh air as you sip coffee on the porch, serenaded by birdsong and the distant baaah... of sheep. Days: Rent a kayak or canoe and explore the reservoir and creek that weave near the property, spotting turtles basking on logs and herons taking flight. Afternoons: Hike through the nature trail at Flint Creek or Desoto National Forest bursting with wildflowers, or curl up with a good book string a hammock strung between ancient oaks. Evenings: Gather 'round the crackling fire pit, roast marshmallows under a canopy of stars, and trade stories with fellow adventurers (or maybe just a barn cat, who might grace you with their presence). Night: Book a night hike with the host and explore the world deep in the forest on or off trail at night. Learn to navigate in the dark as your host leads you deeper and deeper into the mysterious dark forest.
