Spot was a little smaller than initially expected but, made it work with my 30' TT. Jared was very sweet, communicative & accommodating. Even discussed winter options & it was nice to know I had them. Occasionally heard a car or two go by & once in a while, you can hear the train, otherwise very tranquil & peaceful. Driveway could use some leveling but my Pontiac took the punishment like a champ. Spot was level enough that I didn't need to do anything to level my camper.

Turbera Vista Campsite is a peaceful and scenic spot perfect for stargazers and outdoor enthusiasts. We were able to back in our small coupe and set up our tent fairly quick, there was plenty of firewood and the stargazing was amazing, great getaway from the city! David provided us with detailed info of the site and amenities which were basic but thats all we needed! and directions in case we got lost, would definetely return in the near future!

This lovely little campground in Floodwood is a treasure! Conveniently located to highway 2, it is located along the St. Louis river. We enjoyed our site overlooking the river. It has recently been extensively renovated; all the sites are flat. Although we did not use the shower house, all the buildings looked very new and the campground is neat, tidy and well maintained. Definitely will be back.

This place was great for an overnight stay. I enjoyed the fire and the deepwoods experience. It is a few mins from a main road so not much traffic. I could hear the waterfowl on the nearby lake and would occasionally hear some of the neighbors dogs off in the distance. The land looked very lumpy on first inspection, but I found a place for my tent without a problem. There was extra firewood for purchase on site and plenty of deadwood you can pick up (not cut). I stayed in mid Oct. so the mosquitoes weren't bad. Follow the gps coordinates to a great no-thrills camp in the deep woods.

We were very impressed.
The camp host, Scott, welcomed us and and told us about the events happening in town. The shower houses and restrooms were very clean. The sites are big enough for large RVs but are private. The firewood was inexpensive and the fire rings were nice and large. Scott offered a cooking grate if we needed one. Another great feature is that it is right on the river. Its a very beautiful spot.
Surprising to myself, I would highly recommend this campground.

A nice and spacious campsite! It was great going there and having the leaves fall! It definitely made our group love fall even more. We definitely would come back again, and again! Tons of firewood to keep you warm, you do have to purchase the bundles, otherwise, lots of fallen wood that you can use!
