With big dreams for the future, we’re excited to share our journey—and our land—with you. One of our favorite spots on the farm is our campsite area, a true retreat in every season. Each time of year brings its own unique beauty, from vibrant fall foliage to peaceful snow-covered landscapes. Wildlife roams freely, the views are stunning, and some of the most breathtaking sunsets reflect over our pond. Imagine waking up to a golden sky, birdsong in the air, the scent of woodsmoke, and a warm cup of coffee in hand—pure tranquility. We live full-time on the property and are always nearby to offer assistance, answer questions, or simply share a friendly chat. You’ll likely see us tending to our animals, working in the garden or greenhouse, or cruising around on our golf cart. We love meeting new people and take pride in providing top-notch hospitality. Pleasant - Central Michigan University, Mt. Pleasant - Isabella County Farmers Market, Mt. Pleasant - Great Lakes Loons at Dow Diamond, Midland - Dow Gardens, Midland - Whiting Forest (Nation's Longest Canopy Walk), Midland -Midland Area Farmers Market - 1 hour from beautiful Higgins Lake - 45 minutes from Bay City - Sanford Lake restoration estimated late 2024 Midland and Mt. Pleasant are each located about 20-25 mins from our property. Please note that the campsites are rustic. Porta-john, hose connect water and outdoor shower house are available to all guests. Campfire rings and picnic tables are located at each campsite. We also have firewood bundles for $5 each and fresh eggs for sale for $3/dozen. We accept cash, Venmo, and Cash App on-site.

Spend an enchanting evening on the shores of the Saginaw Bay. We are located in the North Bay- the northern end of the Saginaw Bay in a secluded coastal marsh. Enjoy some of the best views of stars in the Lower Peninsula, or roast marshmallows around a bonfire while the sound of frogs singing lulls you to sleep. Wake up to the sounds of blue herons and snowy egrets coasting over the bay as the sun rises in the morning and enjoy the biodiversity of plants and birds that call this part of Lake Huron home. Watch eagles and kingfishers fish as you kayak the marsh or just lounge in hammocks and enjoy the tranquility of this region. Activities: Kayaking- bring your own kayak or use one of ours. The bay is very shallow here and an ideal spot for a leisurely paddle. Take a tour by kayak of the maze of marsh, or kayak out to the tip of Point Au Gres. Fishing-Perch, Walleye , catfish, bluegill, sunfish, pike and bass are common in the North Bay. Need fishing gear or a license? Stop to Norm's Sporting Goods at the traffic light in Au Gres for a local experience. Birdwatching- This spot is truly a birdwatcher's paradise. In the summer we see abundant herons, egrets, kingfishers, swans, grebes, and a myriad of ducks on a daily basis. During migration seasons the bird action is endless. Swimming- although the marshy coastline here is not ideal for swimming you can easily kayak out to a sandbar or jump in, or just down the road is a public county park with a sandy beach. Visit the Northeast Region! Au Gres has few amenities or restaurants, but 20 minutes north Tawas has ample public beaches, dozens of bars and restaurants, a Walmart and other provisions you may want. The Huron National forest outiside of Tawas also has many great hiking trails, ORV trails and more.

Come have a weekend away at our beach camper, we have a new fifth wheel that sleeps up to 6 comfortably. A short walk to the beach, playground, putt-putt, basketball, volleyball, bathouse and fishing docks. The camper is a 2 bedroom, comfortable queen bed in one and a bunk bed with a memory foam twin on the bottom and an extra twin size across from it. The couch and Table also turn into oversize twin beds if needed. Everything you would need for the beach, cooking and outdoor dining are included
