Site 3 is nice and open, I went during the winter so make sure you have 4x4 before attempting to get to the site in the snow! Beautiful area, nice and quiet. Definitely need to revisit in the summer time, would recommend.

I loved tent camping on Jason's land with my dog. It's exactly what we were looking for! 5 acres right along the Chippewa river and we set up our tent just steps from the river. For the most part pretty quiet area just a little bit of occasional road noise or kayakers down the river. There is a few spots to splash in the river to cool off. It looks like Jason is adding more to the property, I might check out the cabins next time!

We hosted a sauna & camp weekend here and rented the entire river property—epic spot. The highlight was swimming in the river and jumping off the bridge into the deep hole. We also did a ~2.5 hour trip down the Chippewa, starting right at camp and ending at 19 Mile Road—only a 3-minute shuttle, surprisingly long and convenient. We first paddled upstream but turned back after downed trees, then drifted downstream. Some shallow spots, but easy to hop off and scoot paddleboards along.
At night it was wonderfully quiet, and the stars lit up the sky. Even near the cabin there wasn’t much road noise, and if you go back to the tent sites by the river you likely wouldn’t hear cars at all. The sites are well spread out and could easily host a big group.
Our crew of 10 loved having the whole property for privacy and to set up our mobile sauna trailer right on the riverbank. Jason also has exciting plans for the lot across the river, so it’s only going to get better.
The bathroom setup is rustic—the girls in our group weren’t thrilled—but it’s rustic camping, so fair trade for such a natural spot.
Overall, no complaints. If you’re into kayaking, paddleboarding, or fishing and want to escape crowded campgrounds, this is a fantastic find. Highly recommend for both small and large groups looking for a private riverside getaway.

We had a wonderful experience renting this group campsite! The site was peaceful and well maintained, perfect for a relaxing getaway. We especially enjoyed walking through the mowed trails. The host was responsive and accommodating throughout our stay, always available when needed. We’ll definitely be coming back again!

Upon arrival, I could already tell we were going to love it. Me and me honey came as a getaway without kiddos. And the peacefulness along with the site right on the river was so amazing. The trails are so amazing and the wildlife we saw was such a plus, bunnies, deer, eagle's! The land is well kept, as well as the outhouse and the sites with trails. I plan on coming back and renting the cabin and bringing my children.

Absolutely amazzzinggggg property! Jason was WONDERFUL to work with & we couldn’t have asked for a better time or host!
The property is right along side the river where we kayaked for the afternoon! We fished, jumped off the bridge & had so much space for camping activities! We will absolutely be booking here again! The property has a ton of space for tent camping as well as a mini cabin fully prepped for us! The cabin and bathroom was super clean and easily managed!! Forever in love with riverside !! :)

Loved so many things about this spot. First, town is close by to run in and grab extra ice and all the others things we forgot and needed. Nice restaurant and huge ice cream servings close by.
The property itself is beautiful. It's quiet and peaceful. We brought the kayaks and had a 3 hr float down the river. Parked a truck at a close by bridge. The Blackstone was great for all meals. Loved that firewood was provided. We will be back again with a large group as well as just the fam.

What a beautiful and magical space! My 2 small children and I had such a peaceful, playful and grounding experience disconnecting from everyday routine and connecting with each other and nature. Campfires under the stars were perfect with tons of fire wood provided! The property is gorgeous and so beautifully cared for. We enjoyed fishing, playing cornhole and bocce ball, splashing in the river and tuning from one end of the property to the other. There is so much space for multiple families to camp at once and a beautiful cabin and bathhouse. We look forward to returning. Jason is a wonderful host and provided us with everything we needed to know.

Excelent lot. Neighbors are great and permenent residents. Safety is not a concern. A rare spot I did not lock my camper for day trips. A word of caution. The communication infrastructure is at a 2014 level at best. Raise device 11 feet to get 5 g signal. Loved the stay.Starlink

Camping on Jason’s land went super smooth! Instructions were clear and the land was gorgeous! How can you beat camping on a river?? Jason gave me my choice of sites since I was the only one there and it was so hard to decide they were all so pretty! They’re was plenty of fire wood and lots of room for my dog to run around, wildlife was minimal and I came at the right time of year! Fishing was plentiful in the river and nearby lake. The outhouse was an exceptionally wonderful treat from what I’m used to, besides the fact that I didn’t have any service, which didn’t really bother me, I rather enjoyed being able to fully unplug for a day and reconnect with nature. This area is the perfect get away! I will be back!! Thanks Jason for such a wonderful experience:))

Weekend Trip to Riverside Retreat
We loved camping out at Jason's cabin! After 70° weather, we were surprised with some snow for the majority of our stay. The cabin kept us very warm and there was plenty of fire wood pre-stacked for our use. The Chippewa River was gorgeous and the cut-trails were easy and fun to explore. It truly feels like a safe haven, an oasis out in nature. Jason responded quickly to any questions we asked him during our stay. Highly recommend!!
