The idyllic location for being in nature. The yurt was wonderfully set up. We enjoyed hot tea each night. The property is close to amenities while feeling removed from the hustle and bustle of it all. Despite the cold we enjoyed an outdoor shower. The property is near a trail to take in all the changing leaves. The hosts were so kind and thoughtful and provided spot on recommendations. We are so grateful!

Weekend Trip to Dancing Lawn
YURT=YES! We arrived to a wonderful oasis, greated by wild turkeys and a beautifully maintained home away from home! My mother and I went skydiving 8 minutes away for my birthday, and this is the perfect place to unwind and experience a wonderful mix of amenities and privacy. I could not have asked for a better birthday. Thank you to the wonderful hosts, who respond instantly and made our stay memorable for entertiny!

Weekend Trip to Dancing Lawn
This was the first time we’ve stayed in a yurt, didn’t know what to expect. The place was very clean and welcoming. We got there after dark and found it fairly well with the little lanterns and the lights on when we arrived. On the night we were there - we heard a pair of Great-horned owls (according to the bird app) in trees close by- very cool and unexpected. We also woke up to rain sounding on the canvas - making it a very relaxing morning.

Such a magical spot! The yurt was perfectly cozy for our family of four. After tent camping, staying in the yurt provided all the luxuries we were ready for while still feeling close to the woods. The sink and hot plate made dinner easy! The outdoor shower was warm and wonderful and the outhouse was the cleanest I’ve experienced.
The owls were our favorite part of the stay! We snuggled up with the kids and listened to them call back and forth to each other. It sounded like they were right outside the yurt. So amazing! We would definitely stay again.

We had an amazing one-night stay at Dancing Lawn! It feels like a perfect private glen carved out for you and has everything you need for a super comfortable stay. Our four-year-old was in heaven and keeps asking about when we can go back to "our yurt." Thanks so much, Jason & Kelly, for setting up such a seamless experience! It was really magical.

This spot was so cozy and relaxing, and worked out great for our small family; our 5yo didn’t want to leave! Great central location to lovely beaches, shops, restaurants and more that make this area super fun. We loved the outdoor shower! Many thanks :)

5 nights at Dancing Lawn
We had a great time staying at this yurt! We loved the outdoor shower, the plentiful shade, and how close it was to everything we wanted to do. We had everything we needed including kitchen ware, blankets, and towels.
We also checked in after dark, and appreciated that there were solar lights to guide us right to the yurt, and the inside lights and the fan were on for us.
We loved staying here and would definitely come back!

Absolutely amazing!!!!! Wish we were going to be in the area longer as it was the perfect place to stay after a day of sightseeing. Highly recommend!!!!! If we plan to make a trip back to Maine- we will reserve the yurt for our stay.

2 nights at Dancing Lawn
My girlfriend and I spent two nights at the Dancing Law Yurt and absolutely loved it. We arrived to the sound of rain, which made the experience even more magical. The space itself was super comfy and relaxing, perfect for unwinding and enjoying some quiet time together.
One of our favorite moments was taking a hot outdoor shower while it rained—such a simple but unforgettable experience. We also made a day trip to the Maine Coastal Botanical Gardens (about 1.5 hours away), and it was totally worth it to see the giant trolls. They were created by the same artist who made the trolls back home in Rhode Island, so it felt extra special.
This was such a unique and cozy getaway—we’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking to disconnect and soak up some nature.

We loved spending three nights at Jason and Kelly’s yurt! It was such a peaceful getaway while still being close to plenty of activities nearby. The outdoor shower, dish/hand sink, and compost toilet were an added luxurious touch that we really appreciated. Thank you for having us!
