Harvey’s Hill is a private hilltop campsite with 360° sky views, unbeatable stargazing, and access to our rustic Cantina featuring bathrooms, warm running water, and a basic kitchen. Just 10 minutes off the highway in Epping, NH, it’s the perfect stopover or peaceful escape.
Harvey's Hill has been a beloved part of Epping for generations. In the summer, you might see small planes taking off from the hilltop airstrip or locals walking their dogs up to catch the sunset. In the fall, my aunt Erica makes donuts down in the Milk Room, and in the winter, the hill fills with sledders racing down its snowy slope.
Many celebrations have taken place here over the years, including weddings, reunions, and picnics.
The Cantina is a new addition to the top of the hill. It includes three bathrooms, a kitchen, and electricity. While simple and minimalist, these amenities make the site more comfortable, and we hope they enhance your stay.

Fantastic pitch next to the cantina on top of the hill. Amazing views, wild turkeys roaming and little fishing pond. Cider apple donuts for sale on site down the track. Cantina has toilets, kitchen (no stove) and water. Wash room with hot showers at the house down the hill. Brilliant place to stay.

We absolutely loved staying here! So many good things to say! Camping with THREE bathrooms with HOT water!! Directions to site were clear. Everything as described. Grass was nice and short at the site, which we appreciated. We were even able to find a 100% level spot without using our maxtrax which is also unheard of! The fields to the left and right side of the site had the corn harvested before we got there. While we were there, we got to see the field across be harvested which was pretty cool! The landing strip is also no joke, do not park near it. There was a plane that came by twice as what I’ll describe as doing a practice landing. It came down low to the runway as if it was going to land but didn’t. It was extremely cool to see! But shewwww felt close!

What a great spot!! Perfect for watching the sunrise and sunset. Having access to the sky-can was awesome! It had flushing toilets, a sink to wash dishes, a mini fridge and a toaster/air fryer oven! The spot is super roomy and has pinic tables too. I highly recommend this site.

I loved camping at the Back 40 site. It’s got a great fire ring with a removable grate (awesome to cook dinner on), a nice picknik table, a tent platform, a nice gravel parking area. It sit on the edge of beautiful farmland. A short walk up the hill is an amazing spot to watch the sunrise and sunset. There are nice new bathrooms with showers too!!
The land owners are incredibly kind and quick to respond. They sure make you feel right at home. I 10 out of 10 would highly recommend checking out this spot.

Denise’s campsite is a true gem! Everything about the experience was too notch. The site was very clean and prepared when we got there. In fact, it’s so well-done that you quickly forget the site is at the back of someone’s property. The cabin was perfect. Large enough for the four of us to hang when it rained and just chill. The beds were comfortable. We all just brought sleeping bags and used them on the bed. The site itself was great. Plenty of wood, chairs, and cookware. The shower warms up quickly and is just what you need to keep fresh. Highly recommend this spot. It was the perfect spot for our annual guy’s weekend.

Tent camping at Abbie’s was so fun! Everything was as described…. she is an amazing host. We set up our tent near the cantina at the top of the hill, where we had access to water, a fridge, and toilets. A nice perk! We really enjoyed watching the swallows dive in and out of the fields as the sun set. Bliss! Hope to be back soon.

What a lovely site! The cabin is beautifully set up and offers many amenities we hadn't been expecting (pillows, bug spray, matches, dry kindling, etc.). The inflatable raft pictured also lives on-site. There are two full-size beds plus cots.
Drive all the way down to the campsite. It's a dirt road but easily navigable, even by our beat-up old Prius.
For those curious about the river: we were there in a dry season where the water level was even with the bottom step of the stairs (which are pretty steep, almost more like a ladder). The deepest the water got was mid-chest on my 5'9" frame, and there were plenty of shallower spots. The bottom is mostly a very soft sand. It was cool and refreshing but not cold. Current was strong enough to be noticeable--my 8-year-old could only sort of swim against it--but it felt very safe. The widest the river got was maybe 40 feet across. Very buggy but otherwise delightful. I can only imagine how relaxing it would be to go without children.

Probably one of the nicest places I camped. The privacy is amazing and was able to let my dog off the lease the whole time too. Views where amazing and the host was very pleasant order two bundles of wood ahead of time and was surprisingly shocked was stocked for a 3 night stay. Showers are down the hill and comes with power a kitchenette and couple bathroom for your use would love to stay again would highly recommend

The Cantina campsite absolutely lived up to our expectations. It was wide open with panoramic views. From the amenities in the cantina (coffee maker, fridge, deep freezer, etc) as well as the huge fire pit we had everything we would possibly need. The site was quiet and had a beautiful breeze (welcome after a four day heat wave) but we were only a few miles from the village. I will definitely be back.
