Harvey’s Hill is a private hilltop campsite with 360° sky views, unbeatable stargazing, and access to our rustic Cantina featuring bathrooms, warm running water, and a basic kitchen. Just 10 minutes off the highway in Epping, NH, it’s the perfect stopover or peaceful escape. Harvey's Hill has been a beloved part of Epping for generations. In the summer, you might see small planes taking off from the hilltop airstrip or locals walking their dogs up to catch the sunset. In the fall, my aunt Erica makes donuts down in the Milk Room, and in the winter, the hill fills with sledders racing down its snowy slope. Many celebrations have taken place here over the years, including weddings, reunions, and picnics. The Cantina is a new addition to the top of the hill. Our 2 acre property and home is located in the center of the small town of Leverett. We have a private camping spot located down by the stream. We are near a paved road with moderate traffic. The property abuts many acres of woods and there are a number of great walking trails nearby. A half-mile walk behind the house takes you through the forest to an outlook on Leverett Pond. The Peace Pagoda is just a few miles up the road. Other nearby destinations include Cushman Market and Cafe, the Montague Bookmill, and Mt. Toby waterfall, caves, and lookout tower. Leverett Pond has a public boat launch nearby. We have canoes, paddles, and lifejackets available for rent--inquire for details! The area has excellent bike riding as well. We enjoy all these activities and are happy to share further destinations, routes, and suggestions!

Fantastic pitch next to the cantina on top of the hill. Amazing views, wild turkeys roaming and little fishing pond. Cider apple donuts for sale on site down the track. Cantina has toilets, kitchen (no stove) and water. Wash room with hot showers at the house down the hill. Brilliant place to stay.

I had a lovely relaxing evening at this site! I like camping at remote sites but I can get creeped out if there's no one else around for miles. This was the perfect amount of privacy for me. You can see some houses and lights through the trees a bit but you won't see another person if you don't want to. The site is spacious with all the essentials. The owners were great. I live nearby and hope to return soon!

The tent camping area was really cool. Could hear a wide array of wildlife at night. A fire pit was set up with stump seats that we loved winding down the night at. Stayed here for quality access to Farley Ledges and wasn’t disappointed.

We absolutely loved staying here! So many good things to say! Camping with THREE bathrooms with HOT water!! Directions to site were clear. Everything as described. Grass was nice and short at the site, which we appreciated. We were even able to find a 100% level spot without using our maxtrax which is also unheard of! The fields to the left and right side of the site had the corn harvested before we got there. While we were there, we got to see the field across be harvested which was pretty cool! The landing strip is also no joke, do not park near it. There was a plane that came by twice as what I’ll describe as doing a practice landing. It came down low to the runway as if it was going to land but didn’t. It was extremely cool to see! But shewwww felt close!

Loved the site for our tent camping! - location is great, you get trees to cover you from the sun and the wind, plus a nice view of the review if you have a couple of chairs. Decent clean ground and a fire pit. - convenience: good, a solid only toilet and a big jar of potable water at your site, did not try the shower sadly due to heavy rain - owner: friendly and helpful! The also have hens and have eggs for sale, sadly they sold out during our visit. - Animals: owls and coyotes are heard at night, pretty cool! - noise: you do hear the road a little, but it didn't bother us too much

What a great spot!! Perfect for watching the sunrise and sunset. Having access to the sky-can was awesome! It had flushing toilets, a sink to wash dishes, a mini fridge and a toaster/air fryer oven! The spot is super roomy and has pinic tables too. I highly recommend this site.

Such a private and peaceful spot. The site was very level and so spacious. The hot outdoor shower at the house was such a bonus. Brought our kayaks with so many lakes nearby to enjoy. The coast was just a half hour drive away and groceries or any needed supplies a 5 minute drive. Although we never met the hosts, they communicated well and available for any questions. Only drawback was the “bucket” toilet. A bit unstable and unsanitary to use. A composting toilet would be such an improvement.

It rained and they let us hang out under a covered porch for a yurt site they had. Thankfully the yurt wasn't rented. We were able to hang out, cook our meal and wash our dishes all while staying dry. Our tent was down by the stream which was a nice site.

I loved camping at the Back 40 site. It’s got a great fire ring with a removable grate (awesome to cook dinner on), a nice picknik table, a tent platform, a nice gravel parking area. It sit on the edge of beautiful farmland. A short walk up the hill is an amazing spot to watch the sunrise and sunset. There are nice new bathrooms with showers too!! The land owners are incredibly kind and quick to respond. They sure make you feel right at home. I 10 out of 10 would highly recommend checking out this spot.

A perfect stay. Soft pine underfoot, a lazy creek with a floating launch (if you kayak), a campsite that is somehow 10 degrees cooler than the weather. Hosts are kind communicators and thoughtful (for example, the wood included perfect amounts of paper, kindling, smaller and larger sticks and a jug of potable water). The gentle clucks from happy hens, an organic farm with abundant wildflowers, and an outdoor shower that was a real treat. Camp here if you can!

Tent camping at Abbie’s was so fun! Everything was as described…. she is an amazing host. We set up our tent near the cantina at the top of the hill, where we had access to water, a fridge, and toilets. A nice perk! We really enjoyed watching the swallows dive in and out of the fields as the sun set. Bliss! Hope to be back soon.
