The folks at the farm were super kind and it was so incredibly peaceful there! We got to watch the baby highland cow get bottle fed which was such an awesome surprise! Very easy to access from Portland too! I highly recommend going to Elevensies too if you're there on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday!

Holly's farmstead hipcamp spot will be a place we will always have fond memories. Holly was very welcoming and accommodating showing us around when we arrived after dark. The night ski was beautiful and falling asleep to the sounds of nature was soothing. In the morning my teen son and I walked around the Farm and visited and watched the animal. It is a a spot where kids and adults can unplug from media and be immersed in nature.

Me and my friends had an awesome time camping here! The campsite was super quiet, and the farm was fun to be around. They sold us some amazing meat and veggies and we did a cookout our last night there. Everyone was super kind and the vibes were immaculate. It is important to keep in mind that the hosts run a working farm here, so being respectful of their time and keeping things quiet during quiet hours is important. Wasn't an issue for us, but just wanted to let future campers know. One of the fears I had while booking a campsite at a farm was that we would be disturbed by animals and farm stuff going on. That was 100% NOT the case for us. The campsites are super out of the way and tucked into corners of the farm. The farm itself is super pretty (think forest homestead, not cornfields)

My girlfriend and I stopped here for an overnight on our way up to Acadia. Holly was an incredible and informative host, and the farmhands were friendly and went above and beyond to give us a great experience. The Woodland Den was exactly as advertised, tucked away in the trees but a very quick walk to the bathroom. We loved being able to spend time with the animals, especially the pigs and the newborn piglets! I highly recommend this HipCamp to anyone who appreciates sustainability, community, and care for all living things. I look forward to staying here again in the future.

Holly is a great host. We felt welcome and at ease on her farm. We also enjoyed the drive to her camp site on the back roads of Maine. We were a short easy 20 minutes from Portland where we ate at Luke’s Lobster ($$$). We visited Yarmouth’s clam fest, Sandy Point for some beach time, and Clayton’s for yummy sandwiches. Holly’s sky filled with stars was one of the best parts of our trip. We would definitely return (if we lived closer).

Our family of four (2 adults, 2 small kids) stayed at the Hobbit House for one night and had a lovely night. We didn’t take advantage of many of the offerings at the farm, but our kids loved watching the pigs and chickens. The Hobbit House slept the four of us with room to spare for our bags.
