Continuous Harmony Farm Camp

4 sites · RVs, Tents46 acres · Lincolnville, ME
Continuous Harmony Farm is located on the north side of Camden Hills State Park. When this area was originally settled, the farm was located on the "highway" from Camden to seasonal pastures in Lincolnville. The trails leading to the park still go by the old foundations that dotted the old Government Road from Camden. The farm has 46 acres of flowing pasture, hardwood forest and flower and vegetable gardens. At the heart of the property is a large farm pond that has been used to water livestock for generations. We hope you can visit us soon! Our farm abuts Camden Hills State Park, offering dozens of miles of trails for hiking and biking. Farm activities include looking after our flock of Katahdin sheep, laying hens, bee hives and vegetable and flower gardens. Activities nearby include rock climbing, boating, horseback riding, paddle boarding and swimming.Learn more about this land:Continuous Harmony Farm Campsite is located under a great old white ash tree beside a large farm pond on 46 acres of sheep meadow, forest and fields. Hideout207

1 site · Lodging22 acres · Westport Island, ME
Hide out for a night and a day in Maine, the way it used to be. Your stay includes a private lobster dinner, beautifully set up either by the beach, in the barn, or under the stars in the field… it’s up to you and I’ll take care of all the details! 🦞Check in at 2:00pm, and meander out at noon the next day- perfect for relaxing before the drive up to Acadia or on the way back to Boston. Book before January 1 for $275. If you're dreaming of a day to walk around in the woods, lounge by the beach, take your kayak out, or read a book and listen to the waves, and not have any concerns about getting ready to go out to dinner… to have the opportunity to truly relax and enjoy nature, in a rustic environment, then Hideout207 is the place for you! Your Maine island (accessible by bridge) “hideout” awaits in our off the grid 1860s barn on a former saltwater farm with acres of field, forest, and a private beach to explore. Located on Westport Island in Maine's Midcoast, Hideout207 is about an hour from Portland, under three hours from Boston, and about two and a half hours from Acadia. See the stars as never before, fall asleep to the sounds of nature, watch the deer graze, spend an afternoon in the hammock in the woods by the beach, or relax on your private patio. Hideout207 provides a grill and French Press, tented outdoor toilet with sink, and a fully tented queen bed. Please note that the front of the barn faces the back of my house, but the patio area is completely out of view from the house and you will be the only guest(s) on property. The beach is accessible by a winding path through the woods. Next to the shore, you’ll find the hammock, table and chairs set up with beautiful views. Explore the tide pools, bask in the sun on a rocky perch, watch lobster boats hauling traps, and enjoy one of those lobsters by the beach! Hideout 207 is glamp-ish… The barn retains its rustic charm, decorated with original farming tools, fishing gear, and fascinating odds and ends that have wound up in the barn over the past 160 years. The comfy queen bed, freshly made up with super soft sheets, plush pillows, and down duvet is completely enclosed with a mosquito net tent, along with few more layers of netting. Practical -and a little romantic! There’s a cozy sitting area and a kitchen table, all lit by flameless candles and battery powered lanterns. We provide a charging port for your phones but there is no power or water in the barn. There is a private, very clean, tented RV toilet and sink set up for your use. If roughing it a little bit is not your idea of a vacation, I get it! Hideout207 may not be for you, but your stay in Maine will be beautiful wherever you choose to stay! Fieldstone Farm

1 site · Lodging35 acres · Warren, ME
Fieldstone Farm is a 35-acre property in Warren, Maine. We have been working on restoring the farm infrastructure for the past several years, planting fruit trees and a vineyard in stages, and working on a barn restoration project that will include a creamery for on-site cheese production once finished. Our waterfront campsite is located on a wooded parcel nestled between a rolling farm field and a seasonal cottage. Amenities included in the nightly rental are a 16-foot diameter round Regatta Bell canvas tent set up on a raised wooden platform, with a queen-sized pull-out futon, two additional single-sized futon chairs, and an indoor dining table and stools. Outside, overlooking beautiful Crawford Pond (aka Crawford Lake) is an outdoor kitchen and lounging area with patio table and chairs, umbrella, as well as kitchenware (cookware, plates, bowls, cups, utensils, coffee press, etc.), a gas grill, and firepit. Also onsite is a shed for storing food bins and trash, a solar composting toilet, and a solar sun shower stall. The campsite is just steps away from shared water access with a small beach and space to launch paddleboards, canoes, kayaks, or other similar kinds of watercraft. Friendly dogs are welcome at the campsite and on the beach; however, dogs should not be left unattended at the campsite or on the beach. The lake covers nearly 600 acres, with an 11-mile perimeter, and is 3.5 miles in length. In the middle sits 100-Acre Island, a beautiful piece of land stewarded by the Georges River Land Trust and a great place to get out and stretch your legs if you are on a long paddle or to have a picnic. In general, this is a delightful setting for swimming, floating, fishing, and paddling among the loons and other wildlife that this water body is home to. The campsite is a short drive to a number of terrific hiking trails that are part of the Georges Highland Path, a 70-mile network of trails, and the St. George River Canoe Trail. It’s also just 20 minutes to Camden Hills State Park and downtown Camden, and 18 minutes to Rockport or Rockland. There are many excellent restaurants and art galleries in these coastal towns, as well as opportunities to get out on the ocean and enjoy our coastal beaches or catch a ferry for a day trip out to explore one of the iconic islands offshore. (Host has compiled an extensive directory of favorite local activities, attractions, and restaurants for guests.)
