We are a Hobby farm located on a peaceful and remote 15 acres of fields and 20 acres of woods. We raise Jacob sheep and have 5 gentle Halfinger ponies as well as Chickens, dogs and cats. There are walking and horseback riding trails through the woods. Guests here can learn about raising and caring for sheep and horses. They can have horsemanship or horseback riding lessons from a CHA Certified riding instructor on site.

Weekend Trip to The Bird's Nest-Private Tiny House
I had the BEST two nights staying at the Bird’s Nest! It was so beautiful and cozy. The weather held out long enough to enjoy walking through the trails on the property, and building a fire in the wood stove was perfect for the rainy and chilly evening. Lisa is a wonderful host and put so much thought into everything one might need while staying here. I hope to be back again soon!

This was such an amazing find! They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating. We were only able to spend a weekend here but plan to come back for a bit longer in the spring! This was the perfect place to get fresh air and spend time outside without committing to the full camping setup. I highly recommend visiting :)

What an awesome spot! The Birds Nest doesn’t disappoint. The Nest sits on the same property as the owner but it’s far enough away that you can’t even see anything. Such a magical little cabin with an awesome wood stove that will keep you more than cozy. Everything was nice and clean/tidy….the outhouse was the same.
Amazing location for hiking.
World class fly fishing in the Carrabassett River not far away.
Me and the ole girl and I can’t wait to come back!!

I loved staying here with my dog! They were so thoughtful in both building and stocking the tiny house. I had everything I needed for a cozy night away from town and my dog loved running through the woods. They have well marked trails throughout. It was perfect!

I loved Sandi and Brandon"s cabin! The land is beautiful and you feel miles away and secluded from everyone else. The cabin itself is very comfortable, clean and cozy. They thought of everything! The covered porch was great and we enjoyed our fires in the fire . The sheep came to visit and were peaceful to watch. I 100% recommend staying here. It's so relaxing!

Lisa was amazing about communicating before and during my trip. She was also super helpful on directing me to the perfect spot to watch the sunset. The Brid's Nest was exactly as described, and. a fun cabin to stay in. It is a little bit of a walk up to the cabin, but there is a wagon to help load up your suitcases. Sunrise through the trees the next morning was absolutely beautiful along with my drive to my next destination. If you don't mind glamping without the extra fluff, I recommend staying here!

We had just the BEST stay at the cabin. We brought our 6 month old along for his first stay in nature and he loved it. The cabin is cozy and has everything you need for a nice, quiet weekend away. We had the best weekend ever here! Sandi and Brandon are amazing hosts. The farm tour was the highlight of our trip because Sandi was so informative and educational it was so cool to learn about the different animals and how they take of them. We got to meet the cutest little baby lamb spidey and they even let us help feed him! The property is amazing, they have trail lights so we took walks before bed every night. Overall 10/10 of experience and it even was raining our last night but we still had the best time!

Weekend Trip to Stone Retreat
I spent the weekend at Coreysha’s cabin and had a great experience. The cabin felt private, quiet, and surrounded by nature — exactly what I was looking for to unwind. Everything was set up thoughtfully with the basics like lamps, a battery pack and a small cooking area.
I really enjoyed the peace and the clear night sky. Even though it’s tucked away, it still felt comfortable and safe.
Would definitely love to come back.
