Guests can walk the gardens, sit by the pond, walk down to the tidal falls, walk the hundreds of acres of conservation land adjacent to the farm, or check out the abandoned rail line, which folks can walk to town on.
From Bowdoinham , folks can strike out to all Maine's attractions. 30 minutes to Harpswell, 45 minutes to Popham, 45 minutes to Reid, 45 minutes to Boothbay, and the Botanical Gardens; about an hour and a half to Western destinations, falls, mountains, lakes. 2 hours from MDI.

This was such an amazing find! They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating. We were only able to spend a weekend here but plan to come back for a bit longer in the spring! This was the perfect place to get fresh air and spend time outside without committing to the full camping setup. I highly recommend visiting :)

I loved Sandi and Brandon"s cabin! The land is beautiful and you feel miles away and secluded from everyone else. The cabin itself is very comfortable, clean and cozy. They thought of everything! The covered porch was great and we enjoyed our fires in the fire . The sheep came to visit and were peaceful to watch. I 100% recommend staying here. It's so relaxing!

We had just the BEST stay at the cabin. We brought our 6 month old along for his first stay in nature and he loved it. The cabin is cozy and has everything you need for a nice, quiet weekend away. Sandi and Brandon were amazing hosts and their kindness made the stay even better. 10/10 would recommend. We will be back soon!

We had the best weekend ever here! Sandi and Brandon are amazing hosts. The farm tour was the highlight of our trip because Sandi was so informative and educational it was so cool to learn about the different animals and how they take of them. We got to meet the cutest little baby lamb spidey and they even let us help feed him! The property is amazing, they have trail lights so we took walks before bed every night. Overall 10/10 of experience and it even was raining our last night but we still had the best time!

We had a wonderful stay at the Woolley farm and really enjoyed getting to disconnect with limited cell service. The animals were delightful, especially the morning wake up call by the sheep who liked to graze by the cabin. Sandi is a such a welcoming host and had great local recommendations.

1 night at Stonecipher Farm
We stayed spur of the moment on this beautiful working farm with our dog. The tiny house was perfect for cooking our small meals and sleeping, we relaxed outside by the fire and had breakfast outside along with Ian’s farm dog who was super friendly. The shower and bathroom were a minute walk into the house, shared with the workers and Ian was friendly and accommodating. The morning was pretty busy with people coming and going but we enjoyed our night there. Comfy bed too!

Staying at the Sunrise Cabin was truly a magical experience! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the peaceful beauty of the meadow and the gentle presence of sheep grazing nearby—it felt like something out of a storybook. The short walk to the cabin was easy and made the stay feel even more tucked away and special.
The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed—from a full kitchen to indoor plumbing and a gas fireplace that made the nights feel warm and relaxing. The view to the east was absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunrise. Watching the sun come up over the fields and woods was an unforgettable way to start each day.
One of the highlights of our stay was learning about the animals on the farm. It was so much fun interacting with them and gaining a deeper appreciation for farm life. It added a whole new level of charm and authenticity to our visit.
The outdoor area was perfect for winding down—we enjoyed the lighted fire pit, cooked dinner under the stars, and even had a picnic at the table while soaking in the quiet of the surrounding nature.
If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with amazing views, friendly animals, and all the comforts of home, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back!

We had such a lovely time staying at the pasture view tent at BrandiLee Woods! Sandi was a wonderful host, with many recommendations, and always open to let us interact with the many animals on the farm. You can tell that she loves sharing this special space with the guests that come visit.
The space itself is so beautiful. The tent is nested in the woods with a beautiful view of the pasture. We stayed for two nights, and we had the pleasure of witnessing the thunder of the horses running up the field twice, which was such a treat. Sitting around the fire pit is the perfect spot to watch the sunset, and afterwards the field is wonderful for laying out and watch the stars.
I would super recommend staying here. Sandi has curated such a special place, and it’s worth the visit.

We’ve stayed at a lot of Hip Camps and this is one of our favorites! We loved the setting of the cabin overlooking the sheep field, a prefect peaceful spot for reading and relaxing. Sandi and Brandon went above to make sure we had the best visit even giving us directions to a local hidden beach on Hancock Pond. If you are a paddler or fisherman be sure get their recommendations for the best places. We are already planning our next visit.

Sandi and Brandon are great host and good people. The property is gorgeous! The animals are the best! The horses, sheep, dogs, chickens❤️ It doesn't have that intense farm smell at all either!(in case you were wondering)
The tent was amazing! And it has a wood stove for 4 season camping. So cool. Normally I bring my own tent and equipment but it was my birthday and wanted to be lazy and just enjoy. My friend and I explored the property which has a seriously gorgeous handcrafted covered bridge with a chandelier that when lit at night is what people dream of for their wedding day pictures. There's a gazebo, a Christmas tree farm/garden and an emerald trail which is magical. I can imagine walking through the Christmas trees with hot chocolate in the winter. ❤️ And I now know why emerald trail is called emerald trail.
The tent and fire pit faces a pasture and when the horses or sheep are out it's very picturesque!
An amazing place, highly recommend!

Sandi was a fantastic host! So kind and thoughtful. The property was exactly as described if not better. Was so fun to be on a working farm.
