Very High Elevation in the Open Pasture Area!  We own 200 acres of all types of terrain. There is a very large pasture for camping and a hunters' apartment for rent. Our property is surrounded by thousands of acres of unoccupied land.We have an apartment set up with 4 bunk bed sets for hunters, with a bathroom and kitchen. There is no stove, but double hot plates, toaster oven, microwave, crock pots, refrigerator, etc. It is not at all fancy, but is certainly usable for short-term lodging. It will accommodate 8 people easily and more on inflatable mattresses or cots.

Very High Elevation open pasture. You can see waaaayyy out in the distance. Beautiful Open Country!!

Burdoc Farms is nestled in the idyllic natural green hills. Burdoc Farms offers a true and relaxed experience for your once in a lifetime event.With over 650 acres of open fields and forest, Burdoc Farms has been in the Shepherd family for over 80 years. The farm was once a tobacco and cattle farm, producing national champion Shorthorn Beef Cattle in the 60’s. When Keith and Sara Shepherd took over operations in the 90’s the farm was converted to a conservation farm, with timber management, wildlife habitat, recreation and agritourism becoming the main focus of farm operations.

Barbour Farms Camp sets on the hallowed grounds of the historic Ol' Ledford Farm. Our Great-Great grandparents, Jim and Mary Ledford, purchased this farm in the early 1870s. 

At an additional cost you may request a guided tour of: "A Day in the Life of Jim & Mary Ledford."

See were the historic Montgomery Co. Griffey School once set on property. 

View Jim and Mary's Ol' house seat and drink from the artesian spring where they got their water in the 1870's. 

Jim and Mary were quite industrious, along with their seven children. 

Picture their mule drawn wagon, sawmill, sorghum mill, and grist mill. 

Once upon a time, their family provided these services and many others to the community.

Rhinestones & Outlaws Farm

Rhinestones & Outlaws farm is "Bonnie & Clyde" meets Rhinestone Cowboy. It's a rustic space with warm cowboy couture deco'r. You can have an exclusive  space with a cozy cowpoke bedroom, roomy bathroom & huge den with a bar with all the extras: darts, games, cable, wifi and sofa bed. Your also welcome to pitch a tent for less and be able to use the cabin space for a common place if not rented in it's entirety. We are located down some curvy roads to a stroll down the hill to the Cheatham Dam. There's a fire pit to warm up by or make some stores as a midnight snack. There's also a picnic table to nosh at or you can walk the land to the creek down below on the property.You will be greeted by the Queen Outlaw herself and she's usually available for Q&A's and/or can share an interesting legendary story or two... She also can for an extra price prepare meals or offer some extras you forgot in her cabin market.There's a marina near by and boat ramps down the hill at the Dam as well a beach to swim. It's a slight hide away from town but still close enough for a Lyft/Uber to bring you back from town night life.We are guarantee to greet you with a smile and a shot of whiskey if you dare! Our motto is to always make you "Sparkle & Shine" during your stay!
