Spend your days kayaking, fishing, tubing, or simply relaxing beside the river. The surrounding area is full of Kentucky gems—Mammoth Cave, Cave City, Nolin Lake, Green River Lake, Diamond Caverns, and more—all just a short drive away.
We’re a pet-friendly property because we know adventures are better with your furry friends. Campfires are welcome, and we even provide firewood to make your evenings extra cozy. You’ll also find portable toilets and two centrally located showers (naturally warmed by the sun!) for your convenience.
IMPORTANT: We do not accept late-night bookings or late arrivals. All guests must arrive by 6 PM local time.
This allows us to personally greet you and guide you to your glamping site or campsite. If something unexpected comes up and you’re concerned about arriving late, please send us a message in advance—we’ll do our best to help. If you're a boater or fisher, Nolin Lake Park is definitely the place for you. Use your trustiest bait and cast a line for crappie, catfish, or walleye, which are abundant in the azure lake waters. Boaters will be happy to use a conveniently placed launch, and a sandy beach awaits swimmers and people gettin' on their tan on alike. Nine miles of biking trails are the perfect way to explore the shaded paths, and a shorter hiking trail offers the sight of a cascading waterfall. About 90 miles south of Louisville, it's far enough away from civilization to get a breath of fresh air, but close enough not to be too inconvenient. If you're really rarin' to explore, try hitting up the sandy beaches built for swimming and boat launches that are just waiting for your vessel. Hiking and interpretive trails are the perfect place to keep an eye out for wildlife, and no one will fault you for wanting to take a swing at the 18-hole golf course. With the historic Green Farm nearby, you can check out a large ancestral home and water-powered mill sitting on 3,000 miles of picturesque land. Pretty sweet deal, we've gotta say.

** please note we have a few site options for camping which we are happy to tell you more about! Large RVs and campers are welcome but will likely want to stay in the area before our bridge (we are happy to send pictures). Long campers and RVs that are low to the ground may scrape / bottom out going across the bridge.
WARNING: The driveway leading to the campsite is a long, steep, gravel driveway with a concrete bridge at the bottom. The bridge also has fairly steep embankments on both sides (entering and exiting) with a turn heading into the site. A 4WD vehicle will be necessary for anyone pulling an RV as we have had at least one guest get stuck halfway up the hill when exiting with a two-wheeled truck with a V8 engine pulling a small RV.
In addition, you will likely need a brake-control system installed for coming down the hill. Front-wheel drive vehicles with high clearance should be satisfactory to cross the bridge and exit the steep hill as long as you are not pulling an RV.

What a great spot. Very private and a perfect place to camp. The site is sat between 2 creeks and our young boys (2 and 4) absolutely loved exploring every bit of it. The hosts were very nice and provided firewood! Will definitely be coming back.

Misty Bottoms is hands down one of the best campsites where we’ve ever stayed The site is incredibly well-maintained and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable, relaxing stay.
The grassy area was perfect for our tent (and great for RVs too), and we really appreciated the electric hookup and potable water access. The bathroom was impressively clean, with a hot shower and even toiletries provided — a rare find at most campsites!
We loved gathering around the fire pit in the evenings (firewood included!) and spending time in the shelter, which had everything from hammocks, tables, and even a refrigerator. It was a great spot to hang out, rain or shine.
The views of the sky were stunning — clear and wide open, perfect for stargazing, and the sunrise and sunset over the Green River were absolutely magical. The whole environment was peaceful and quiet — ideal for a relaxing getaway.
Hosts Travis and Tena were incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating. They clearly care about making this a special place for visitors, and it shows.
We will definitely be returning. We highly recommend Misty Bottoms to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-equipped nature retreat!

We arrived at sunset, it was a beautiful drive and the site was really nice.
The driveway was a little rough as explained in the summary, but we drove slow and were able to navigate it pretty easily in our kia soul. There was a nice firepit and large logs to burn; and the stars out there were amazing!
It's a little far out, but there is a dollar general close by and a walmart only abt 15min away near an interstate.

1 night at Mollys Ridge Glamping and Camping
The stay was really nice! We enjoyed the fire in the evening and went in to the tent as the night went on. After it got cold enough, we used the gas heater and it was more than enough to keep us warm.
The potable water is limited, so if you need lots (cooking, cleaning) be sure to bring it in.
It was extremely private and lovely, but it looks like there may be a new cabin being built at the top of a very nearby hill which would make the place much less private. We prefer solo private spots, so we might need to check on this for future stays.

Weekend Trip to Barren River Magic
The peace pipe is a campers refuge! I loved the lower level sitting area, brought along flowers and a tablecloth and it made for a beautiful meditation/yoga sanctuary. The upstairs sleeping loft was a reprieve from the heat and had the best views of the land! Mostly, we spent our free time star gazing and strolling the river. It was an amazing getaway and we can't wait to come back!

My family and I enjoyed staying on Susan and Larry’s land. The views were beautiful and my son absolutely loved going to see the animals. The campsite was nice and clean. The out house and outside shower were a nice luxury to have available to us. I made the mistake of letting my car battery die while charging my phone and Larry kindly jumped my car off for me. It felt very secluded and was exactly the trip we were hoping for. Overall our family camp trip was very enjoyable and Susan and Larry were very nice and helpful.
