WARNING: The driveway leading to the campsite is a long, steep, gravel driveway with a concrete bridge at the bottom. The bridge also has fairly steep embankments on both sides (entering and exiting) with a turn heading into the site. A 4WD vehicle will be necessary for anyone pulling an RV as we have had at least one guest get stuck halfway up the hill when exiting with a two-wheeled truck with a V8 engine pulling a small RV.
In addition, you will likely need a brake-control system installed for coming down the hill. Front-wheel drive vehicles with high clearance should be satisfactory to cross the bridge and exit the steep hill as long as you are not pulling an RV.

What a great spot. Very private and a perfect place to camp. The site is sat between 2 creeks and our young boys (2 and 4) absolutely loved exploring every bit of it. The hosts were very nice and provided firewood! Will definitely be coming back.

We arrived at sunset, it was a beautiful drive and the site was really nice.
The driveway was a little rough as explained in the summary, but we drove slow and were able to navigate it pretty easily in our kia soul. There was a nice firepit and large logs to burn; and the stars out there were amazing!
It's a little far out, but there is a dollar general close by and a walmart only abt 15min away near an interstate.
Would stay here again!

The good! It was a wonderful camp spot! Completely private (unless someone drives by on the driveway, but we only had one person do that), and so shaded it felt like it dropped 20 degrees! Perfectly lovely camping spot!
The bad.
The driveway - Once you leave the road, you will turn left onto a steep, long, gravel driveway. If you are pulling a travel trailer (even a small one like we were), you won't have a good way to turn around once on this driveway so DO NOT attempt this hill with an RV unless you have a proper braking system installed for your RV. Also, do not attempt this hill with a two-wheel drive if you are pulling an RV, even a small RV. We got stuck going back up the driveway when leaving because we only had a two-wheel drive (it even has a V8 bus-size engine), and had to have our small travel trailer pulled out.
The bridge - At the bottom of the driveway is a concrete bridge. The entrance and exit to the bridge has a decently steep embankment. I thought we would be fine because our small RV has off-road tires, allowing the RV to sit up high off the ground, but upon leaving, we scrapped the bottom, slightly damaging the bottom of our RV. In order to continue forward, we had to place large rocks from the creek under the RV tires a few times to get it to the level of the bridge without damaging it further.
I would go and stay there again, but this time, I would just bring my car with a tent. It's a lovely tent camping spot!

This place checked all the boxed for us. I brought my 7 yo here and he was able to play in the creek and catch crawdads while I set up camp. Then, I helped him catch some crawdads, and we eventually took a dip in the bigger creek, which was refreshing on a very hot day. The site was also shady and private--you can see a house up on a hill if you walk onto the bridge, but it isn't close enough to see people clearly. The host was very responsive. Remember to turn your phone off of roaming (or heck, just turn it off), as it will drain the battery when you are in camp. I got service once I was back up on the road. I would come back here again, for sure.

True definition of secluded in nature. Was able to get in the creek and follow for miles all directions. Crystal clear waters flowing from up top and all the history it carries with it! Nothing but the sounds of deer calls for bed down, owls, the wind and the trees speaking to you, and stars at night. It was definitely a heavy feeling to have to leave, but I can’t wait to get back again this season and do some more exploring.
I will say this is a primitive campers advantage for sure. The wind up in the mountain can cut and rain can come in at any moment. Temps about 10 degrees or so colder than actual. I prefer cold weather camping myself but if you’re not confident in your primitive skills, I’d stay to the warmer months. All in all, can’t wait to get back to this 125 acre beauty. Thank you for sharing what you have with us!

Absolutely LOVED our camp weekend at sole tribe acres! This was my son's (2 years old) first camping experience and he had a blast. Alexa and her husband provided loads of firewood for the fire pit. We loved the privacy of the location while not being too remote n and Alexa was so responsive. We can't wait to come back in the spring!
