Walking distance from a working dairy if you ever wanted to see one. We have a 90x130 riding arena, should you be hauling horses yourself and need to let them out. Our horses and dogs are available for petting/grooming should you not have any. Fire pit, outhouse, BBQ and picnic table is onsite. Freeway noise an issue for some.

Sweet Pepper Ranch is a small-scale horse ranch in the high desert of southwestern Idaho. We are nestled in a rural agricultural setting yet close to stores and conveniences. We raise and train horses and work all day to exercise and train our horses as well as run the day-to-day aspects of running a large horse property.
Our equestrian facilities include individual paddocks with attached runs (12’ x 52’), automatic waterers, feeders, rubber stall mats, a 200' x 300' outdoor sand arena, a 72’ x 120’ indoor arena, two round pens (one large), numerous trail obstacles, large-scale permanent outdoor obstacles, an outdoor washrack, as well as parking, port-a-potty, arena bleachers, and picnic table areas.
Nearby activities abound from visiting rodeos and wineries to trail riding at sunset near waterfalls or hiking painted desert canyons. There are wildlife refuges to visit, hot springs to relax in, wilderness mountains to explore, scenic rivers to raft, railways to travel along--and North America’s largest concentration of breeding raptors to dazzle you.

New campground and well designed. Artifical grass was a great addition. Staff was friendly and eager to please. Trains during afternoon, but only one at early evening. Quiet enough we slept soundly with the windows open.

Easy access spot with all the necessities! The directions and instructions were spot-on but the host came out upon my arrival to make sure the site met expectations and to see if I needed anything or had any questions. Such a quant and ideal spot for a stop-over! I will be back 🌞

The park was clean, the club house with the showers, laundry room, rest rooms, lounge and game room were all really clean and nice. Check in was a breeze, they came out and met you and took you to your space right away, easy. I’d stay there again.

Loved my brief stay at the Sweet Pepper Ranch! It was a scorcher of a day but after a quick dip in the pool and shower, the tent was perfect and cozy. Great service. Host is kind and went out of their way to help us get set up in the rain. They have 50amp service and Sewer which was really nice. Bring an extension for the sewer because it is about 12 feet away from the Rv. We road our dirty bikes up the dirt road to Jerusalem valley outlook. Beautiful! Site itself is not serene so much but the amenities and the access are why we will be there again.
