Kraay's Market & Garden

The property has so much history.  Larry purchased the 16 acres in 1978 as nothing but a field.  His dream was to raise Arabian Horses, so that is what the property was set up to do and he did just that, very successfully.  We did convert a few acres into a Market Garden a few years ago and started Kraay's Market Garden, you can find us online.  We love sharing our place, the Tipi and Tipi yard are an extra special place.  We would love to share our place with you!

The Dragon's Star

We live in a sweet, little farm town with recreation all around us!  We have biking and hiking trails, natural hot springs, Silver Creek fishing and canoeing/rafting/swimming all within 15 minutes from camp!  We are 20 minutes west of Craters of the Moon National Park, 15 minutes from Silver Creek Preserve, 1hr from Shoshone Falls, 1hr from Sun Valley and 1 hr 30 minutes from Hagerman hot springs and fossil beds. 

Our 1/2 acre camp is open for two Hipcamp sites. There is plenty of space at camp for yard games, running around and playing!  

We live next door to camp and are kitty corner from the Oasis/Exxon station that provides RV dump, propane, fresh water, wifi and air fill up.

Pasture Oasis, Tent & RV Camping 🏔

Our property is 4 miles down the road from BLM, where you are able to do any outdoor activities you desire. Personally, I love to ride horses and hike there. You may be greeted by horses or dogs on our property, and it's quite possible that you will hear coyotes at night (light sleepers take this into account). 

If you are a horse or dog lover, you are able to interact with our animals on the property!

I am on the property, as well, for any questions/issues/concerns. There is a runoff river that runs through the property but rarely has water. We like to use it for campfires instead!

Park anywhere to the west of bordering fence. 

Brittney offers horse rides around the property. This was a nice addition especially for our little one who loves horses. Brittney was very responsive when we messaged her. 

There are a couple trees on the lot that can be used for a little shade. But this is a desert, be prepared. 

Gate post and lads to the back of the property. Make sure you close it back once you enter. 

A dry creek bed nearby. Across the way is a nice canal to swim at. You can ask Brittney for directions and a nice quiet swim. 

Expansive Views of Soldier Mountain

Learn more about this land:Pull onto the property and find your favorite spot to pitch a tent or park the RV. Watch out for water, flooding, snow and wind! The views are gorgeous, the wildlife is active, and the property is accessible but quiet!

360 degree views of mountains, prairie and the creek right on the property. Gentle winds keep the bugs away during the summer, but can cause blizzard conditions during the winter. Be advised!

Silver Oaks Farm

We are a 3.25 acre small-scale dairy farm conveniently located right on main street in the quaint little community of Carey Idaho. We almost always have baby animals here on the farm and they love getting lots of attention and having someone to play with. We have a lovely shady picnic area down by the tree-lined canal. We are within minutes of Silver Creek world class fishing, Craters of the Moon National Monument, great hiking, and other outdoor recreation.
