South Fork River Cabin

Located on the South Fork Broad river just below Watson Mill Bridge State Park. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway.  This Aframe along the river is perfect for a couples getaway. King size bed in the loft and sleeper sofa on the main floor.
Horses and goats might come say hello in the pasture behind the cabin.
Bring your beach towels and fishing gear. Chairs available to sit on sanbars and rocks in the river.

Peaceful Elberton

Elberton is the granite capital of the world. The Georgia Guide Stones and Lake Russell are just a few miles away from this property/campsite. Rest and camp at this rural site for a peaceful getaway, or use it as your operations base for visiting all the attractions in Elberton. Have fun! =)

Very top of the property where the road in begins. This area is where pop-ups, RV's etc should park. (Unless you have 4WD) Unfortunately this is the best pic I have of this part- I'll take another as soon as I can get up there.

Small gate I threw together to mark absolute end of recommended 2wd travel. Past here you will definitely get stuck without 4WD

Leach Homestead

Our site offers 50 beautiful rolling acres of forrest, field, and ponds. The ponds are stocked for fishing and there is a sandy beach for swimming and building sand castles. There are many trails throughout the property. You will have your choice of primative sites and we also have a small apartment if you prefer sleeping indoors with a bathroom and shower. Friendly pets are welcome. 

We offer free kayak use or 4wheeler rental.

You can find several historical markers in the area. 

Dinner! (or some of it)  We provided the food and the grates.  Victor provided the burn pit and wood.

Our Animal Sanctuary has been a rescue/sanctuary for over 30 years.
 We have plenty of different areas where you can camp either private or not so private, woods you can explore, lake within walking/biking distance, boat rental, boat dock, fishing, even help with animal care if you are interested.
 Plenty to do or nothing to do!
 Peaceful, quiet and relaxing place to enjoy!

Various sites on level farm/ranch land totaling the 12 acres of our domestic animal sanctuary.  Sites located near Lake Secession.  Great fishing on the lake and boat rental available.  Quiet nights, camp fires and peaceful settings.  We are located just 15 minutes from the southern quaintness of historical Abbeville.  In under an hour you can visit the shopping and events around the growing city of beautiful Greenville, SC.   Enjoy a short day trip to the Clemson University campus area and it's surrounding attractions. We are only 40 minutes from Denver Downs Farms where there are a lot of exciting festivals and events throughout the year.  In just about 2 hours you can be in the Asheville area where you can enjoy and take in the local attractions and gorgeous mountain views.  Another short jaunt into Georgia takes you to Hartwell and it's quaint southern atmosphere near Lake Hartwell.  Additional short trips and you'll find more water, fishing, fun and sights on scenic Lake Russell and the Savannah River.  You are also welcome to hang out here on the property with us too and enjoy visiting our animals.  ASK ABOUT OUR SANCTUARY TOURS.
